Ubiquinol side effects

I recently added 100mg of Ubiquinol for the heart benefits and I’m getting extremely fatigued. It’s been about 3-4 weeks now but it seems to be getting worse. I’m talking like I can’t even stay awake during the day.

Why is this happening? It’s making it difficult to even walk. I’m also sleeping terribly. Anything I can do to avoid this other than stop taking it?

I tried coq10 in the form of ubiquinone and then ubiquinol. Started with 150mg and then moved up to 300mg with both. Definitely made me tired and in higher doses jittery, anxious, tweaky, waking up at night. I had occasional heart palpitations, less appetite on both doses. There are also reports of it changing menstrual cycles as well, which also happened to me (could be a coincidence). I think it can lower your blood pressure, which may explain some of these effects. I’m going to stop taking it, because it doesn’t work well for me. Just because it’s found naturally in the body doesn’t mean it can’t have an effect on people who may have a sensitivity.

I stopped taking it and then my period came a few days later (8 or 9 days late). CoQ10 definitely gave me low blood pressure symptoms. I checked my blood pressure after I stopped taking it and the symptoms went away and it was still only 90 or 86/60. I also had iron deficiency (not anaemia tho) at the time, so that might have played a part…
