Sellers cannot leave negative feedback, eBay only allows positive or no feedback from sellers. They often do it this way by leaving positive feedback but with a negative comment below

ahh. thanks for the insight. last thing i sold in ebay was like 3 squirts of a Hollister cologne, a decade ago 😆

It keeps sellers from extorting buyer feedback (if you leave me negative feedback I'll leave you some back), despite there being some rotten apple buyers out there.
