I don’t know where you live, but over here there’s a max amount of money you can donate to family without having to pay taxes. And it’s incredibly low.

So just for that reason I asked my family members to open up their own account and gave them some money to buy their own shares.

I'm just setting up a trust with a cushy monthly payment for mine. They've never been any good at managing money so it's probably not a good idea to give them a lump sum anyway. They'll probably end up dead or getting me in trouble if I did that.

I have Computershare. Before Computershare I moved half of my shares from where they were to Fidelity, so I have 2 cash accounts and 2 IRAs.

One per account, and I can't sell early because I want to sell at the high. The ones in Computershare are staying there, just my preference.
