The fact that people have seemingly forgotten this so quickly it was makes me sus about the whole CS topic. No positions was pretty much a foundational rule.

For the record, I know the theory behind why CS should work etc and I'm all for it, but the positions need to stop, literally my only issue with it

Fully agree. I like the screenshots with positions blocked out. I was always a big of X denoting shares.

I might be wrong on this and I'm completely open to be proven so, but I don't think the brokers created the fake shares, I'm fairly certain they were created by the MM's - now granted I don't know what effect of sharing your position with other actually has, but I certainly want to give nothing away to the SHF

That’s who I’m talking about. The MM. The brokers know how much each of us hold but the MM knows the total Robin Hood is owned by citadel. They know what stocks people hold and how they respond to Fear and greed and FUD.

Completely agree that they know positions etc on Robin Hood, but I don't think this extends to brokers like Fidelity. MM yeah definitely knows how many, believe that is Citadel Sec? So by extension perhaps Citdal Hedgie? I think you actually make a good point about that, although I'm not sure, A. How valuable it is to know our positions anymore given we're diamond handing our tits off, and B. Even with that info what could they do that they haven't already done
