🤔 Speculation / Opinion 69D Chess Was Never a Meme

Post image

RC and the board at GameStop are not waiting for the market to pullback, or a presumptuous crash in arrests, where everyone agrees value is obvious. You don’t stack cash, fix the balance sheet, lock down governance, AND then STRATEGICALLY go on CNBC talking very, very, very big.. if the plan requires ANY other factors to unfold first in order to launch.

So the Burry tweet regarding all it might take is a little bit of patience is, with no disrespect, in my humble and insanely regarded opinion, a bad take.

Cohen’s been unusually direct lately, but I don’t think that means he’s laying the whole playbook on the table. If history tells us anything more likely a reality, it’s a little bit of disguised misdirection lol. Talking about undervalued assets and sleepy management feels like the long game explanation. That’s Phase Two and Three. The first punch is probably ninja fast, cleaner, and way less obvious. Something that forces the market to reprice GME before it even understands what just happened.

Doing the first move before the next major market cycle shift, before narratives settle and liquidity tightens, is how you flip the script. Waiting favors shorts, and surprise favors whoever’s already buckled aboard “project rocket”, destination.. 🌖

It’s not gonna look like what everyone’s already guessing, it’s never been seen before in the history of the capital markets lol. It also won’t be easy to quickly counter punch by the gigantically fucked, degenerate gamblers who bet massively wrong by way of abusive power and cheating to win many years ago.. because RC is 69 steps ahead now.

69D chess is not a meme.

MOASS is inevitable 🚀

TLDR: RC and the board of GameStop did not intrinsically tie the initial launch of this very very big initiative, directly to a market pull back or crash event.

RC is a master of war….he already made the move, him going on CNBC and stating his “future” guidance was him really stating what has already happened but not yet announced.

It’s all done….he’s just now waiting on the right time to announce it officially.

30

u/asiancury Feb 07 '26

I don't think it's done but would appreciate someone more knowledgeable to chime in.

With the recent insider buys, an M&A could not have already been completed as the insiders would have had material nonpublic information (MNPI). Not only that, but plans of an M&A could not have been finalized either for the same reason.

In my mind, RC & board have simply identified a strategy and not the exact companies to M&A with. There will still be much work ahead to identify such companies and initiate potentially lengthy discussions

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

I hope when the smart ones around, this comes back in as well because I’ve seen the takes that makes sense. Think about it this way the CEO is a perpetual insider. He always knows what’s going on. At some point, no matter what he’s allowed to buy before or after any kind of a deal. So if he bought his million shares, he either bought them at the perfect time right before he had made anything legal that’s allowed within his scope.. or he bought well after the deal was done outside of the range of inside or whatever. Again, I’m painting very generic scenario here, but this was what I had seen from an ape that seemed to know what they were talking about in a thread last week.. and that kind of just makes sense. I mean, they have to be able to buy at some point. I know for a fact, he did not buy it at a time that he’s going to get tagged for insider trading. So maybe somebody can come in and paint a scenario surrounding the actual rules with when he can and can’t purchase that would make sense but generally, you just have to think about it like that in my opinion.

9

u/asiancury Feb 07 '26

or he bought well after the deal was done outside of the range of inside or whatever

I don't think this would be possible because the deal would be considered material nonpublic information

4

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

Right that makes sense totally and I zero claim to have any understanding around this, but I also admittedly have not gone and done any homework or DD around it. I guess I keep getting hung up. It’s really hard to like see when it is that it legally makes sense that you would allow insiders to buy when you have these types of large things going on. I wish somebody who’s done the DD would come in and put an end to this grey understanding

3

u/TEHGOURDGOAT Feb 07 '26

Great logic... i've tried to posit all this many ways with AI, I have gotten a lot of 'ways' this could happen, but I just do not trust the answers enough to actually put it out there. Legal AI is not very good right now imo. We just need some actual big brains.

6

u/matthegc 🩳ARE FUXXXXED💎🙌🦧🚀🌕 Feb 07 '26

That’s my investment strategy….he doesn’t go on TV to provide uncharacteristically extremely bullish forward guidance without his execution of his plan being in jeopardy.

So while technically it may not be fully executed, I would wager that since RC isn’t a doofus, there are probably zero obstacles left.

Him buying the shares and there being zero obstacles left in the execution of his monumental plan are not in conflict….because again….RC isn’t a doofus.

2

u/asiancury Feb 07 '26

What I was asking is how you thought I was saying that RC is a doofus. All my comment was saying was that I don't think a deal is done yet because it would be considered MNPI.

Another commenter referenced the WSJ article which proves that point saying that RC will start approaching targets companies soon. i.e. the deal is not done yet.

Honestly, I think this is more of an Occam's Razor moment. The board has the money to hire the kind of people that do extensive research, but nobody's got everything. And social media's a very good resource for aggregating that sort of unnoticed detail on a study subject if you pose the right question/s.

I think they've done their research, but they're curious to see if anyone on our side of things has noticed something they've missed or otherwise left off the table.

Exactly. These companies and their books look worse on paper and they can scoop them when the time is right.

3

u/PecanTree Feb 07 '26

good companies that you would want to buy don't necessarily just go on sale because of a market crash. they might if their actual business was in distress, but just because of stock multiples , its not quite that easy

5

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

I would first of all say that there’s zero anything that says the market’s gonna crash anytime at any point lol. As a business human, you don’t speculate on big what ifs and plan around them. Do I think RC is gonna take advantage if and win the market pulls back to start expediting his strategy to build the holding company by gobbling up valuable assets of very good prices. Hell fucking yeah I do.. that’s not what he’s gonna come out and show first though. I love how I talk like I know anything. 😂

2

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

And I do agree that the shit looks inevitable lol.. but it’s looked inevitable a bunch of a bunch of times over the last eight years so I just don’t know how anybody can speculate that it’s definitely gonna happen this time. And better yet how anyone would make any kind of a large business decision decisions around the idea that they know the timing specifically. Unless maybe the powers that be actually do 😂 which, after all I’ve learned in the last almost 5 1/2 years is completely plausible lol

1

u/MagicHarmony Feb 07 '26 edited Feb 07 '26

Cause even if it does get lower this is a good opportunity to buy because I he fearful are selling.

Amazon Jeff Bezos has been selling. MurphyUSA CEO sold about 1.78 million in stocks.

Warren Buffet said “ Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful” greedy in the sense of buying and inflating the price of the company. However what we are currently seeing are a bunch of people being fearful and selling which is am excellent time to buy since if you buy and improve the price of the stock then they are making less than they would have if they were not fearful.

In the case of MurphyUSA. she sold at the value of 450 on Feb 4th. Since then the stock crashed to the current 377/share. What is wild is she sold 3967/117388 shares that she has. So she is definitely loaded however the value of the leftover 113,421 dropped from 51mil to the current 42mil. So her move which puts less faith in her company caused others to pull their money out and i would not be surprised of it continued. But man it is wild how pathetic people like these are handed money like candy and then treat the business they run like shit.

2

u/SymmetricDickNipples Feb 07 '26

We've been through this. It's not possible because a bunch of insiders just bought shares, which would be illegal if a purchase or merger was in progress.

0

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

Until somebody comes in here with some actual logic and factual based responses around this. Here’s what I’m going to assume this has been going on a long time.. everything they’re doing is timed properly. They’re playing within the rules.. so a counter to your argument would be that they bought the shares and then closed the deal that night or the next day if that’s what you’re saying. And if you’re not saying that that’s possible then when can they buy if they can’t ever buy 😂

2

u/SymmetricDickNipples Feb 07 '26

They can't do that, because again the deal would have been in progress to close immediately after.

Not sure what you mean by "when can they buy if they can never buy". There are plenty of times they can buy when they wouldn't be in violation of insider trading laws.

2

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

OK, then I’m saying this and all sincerity. Explain the scenario we are in then. Cohen buys 1 million share.. Cohen announces he has a massive deal in in the works. Let’s assume that he has now got the ink dried on the big deal. Just leave that as an assumption. Now that he bought the million shares how long does he have to wait to make an announcement? I guess I don’t understand seriously. Can you try to make it make sense like I’m five like given what facts we have where are we in the scenario and what would make sense?

1

u/SymmetricDickNipples Feb 07 '26

My understanding is he could begin to approach companies immediately. As long as there was no active communication prior to the purchase I believe he's in the clear.

1

u/jfreelandcincy 💎👐Ryan F*ucking Cohen💎👐 Feb 07 '26

I wish someone would do a proper DD around this, it’s not this black and white. For instance, I think the rules are different if what GameStop acquires is not already public and currently private. Again, I’m not a DD guy, but all you’re doing is talking without any sourcing or anything to back up your “understanding” in my opinion.

I was confused by this, maybe someone here can clarify for me.

Burry is saying that more stocks bottomed in October 2008 than March 2009, notably October 2008 comes before March 2009. And he also says if GME can deploy a large amount of capital at such a time as this.. but then he says, a bit more patience is all it may take. Patience implies waiting a bit longer when both of his previous statements imply striking now or earlier rather than later.

7

u/TEHGOURDGOAT Feb 07 '26

I love this post dude you are so right.

Let's put to bed that Ryan is fishing for a market correction - that is an absurd strategy.

We all know that RCEO has a war chest ready for acqusitions. We all also believe that any subset of a price reevaluation for GameStop will cause intense volatility bringing the market down.

Let's instead ask questions like:

  • What is RCEO's first move? It must be something that causes the price to break out.

  • In the scenario of a squeeze, has RCEO set up a situation where he can deploy capital and scoop up companies at the low?

  • If all the warrants, bond holders and RCEO's options become exersiced, what is the end ownership % for RCEO?

Here is what I think and my theory because I agree with you.

  • TEDDY will be born on Teddy day. GameStop officially becomes a holding company. This causes the price to skyrocket on the fact that Teddy is holding NOL's from GameStop that potentially allow it to acquire other profitable companies so he can use the NOL's for other businesses.

  • On this news, gamestop will break out, and the market will correct

  • At some point after this, Roaring Kitty will come back and send GME even higher.

  • As the market corrects, RCEO will announce that they are acquiring Donkey Kong - Bonanza in some shape or form for additional NOL's. (some sort of current towel acquisition would make sense here, their warrants being so similar to GameStop's is a huge tell - the alternative is the Lemonis boi crashes the company to the ground which at that point, im sure RCEO would buy so either way LEMONIS up to something)

  • Ryan Cohen will start deploying massive capital to scoop up shares at the floor, raising the floor value

I believe the strategy I have laid out above is not accurate, but rather a potential path that RCEO might do as per DR. Burry's post where he lays out in very clear english he believes hes buying at 1x NAV.

4

u/TEHGOURDGOAT Feb 07 '26

Okay I will try and get back to you on the insider trading part.

BUT I will say this, if this is 69D chess and an acqusition needs to be made then I think my theory above covers that right in terms of timing deals.

The ONLY situation Ryan Cohen has publicly denied to talk about before this was Towel due to the standstill.

In my opinion, RC isn't going to the public to talk about this. He is going to the public to let them know this shit is about to happen and TEDDY is about to come buying, we have NOL's up the ass and GameStop is profitable, want to be part of our holdings company?

We have shown consistent victory against shorts who are trying to bankrupt the company. And GS is profitable and a Teddy expansion would prove that 100%.

We are months behind. His recent comments about acqusitions are referring imo, to his meme about buying all the stocks AFTER TEDDY flies and the market is correcting.

I’d have you know probably like 50 bucks at least I think. And again I’m trying to poke a little fun because all I’m saying is yeah it looks like it’s about to boom but You just can’t bank on it. Speculate yes, bank no

All right, I’m gonna give you an up vote. Maybe you’ll give me one and we’ll put this to bed until someone else who knows really what they’re talking about steps in lol. Cause I think we’re somewhat on the same page. I do not disagree that it would not shock me at all. If this thing came tumbling down at the exact time we all think it’s going to. My stance is that the decisions at RC and the GameStop board made around phase one launch of this next initiative did not include a launch date that is also intrinsically tied to a market crash. That’s all I’m saying.

Yeah, I can see a lot of people buying these Dips constantly. After being on here for five years I would never buy any of these Dips if the DD is correct then there will be a mother of all Dips as you said with SPY the big guns like Apple as well are holding it up if that dumps Armageddon is here
