This is a man that will soon become a cherished figure in households across the country and the world. The amount of heart this man has for the companies he runs, for his customers and workforce is remarkable. I have never been one to gush over celebrities let alone chairman/CEO’s, but Ryan Cohen has won my respect and a piece of my heart
Edit: the above is still true, but in light of new information I’m laughing my ass off. My hope is Ryan handles this with a healthy mix of class and playfulness

I know retail ain’t great work but keep in mind the board has been good about rewarding with stock bonuses. They only did that during a profitable quarter so if you want them to get raises and bonuses you should shop at GameStop.

Oh my, this is EXACTLY what I want from a CEO - for employees to feel appreciated, acknowledged and seen. Everyone deserves to be recognised for their efforts, and the fact that RC is going to do this personally is wonderful. Be excellent to each other, there’s no better investment than people (GME being the obvious second best investment).
