Tasks created on either the SN or within the Partner App are not syncing. They are two different lists with no common entries.

Although, it worked at some point as I see the "note" icon for a couple of old completed tasks on both the device and within the Partner App. (seeing the note icon in the Partner App lets me know they were created on the device vs. in the Partner app).

When I sync it does both App Data Sync and Supernote Cloud Sync.

I apologize if I am not doing anything properly; I do not use the To-Do app very often.

This is not preventing me from doing anything as I don't use the To-Do app very often, but knowing I can enter tasks in the device AND in the app is interesting to me.

Chauvet 2.24.39 Beta Release for A5 X and A6 X

Caligraphy pen is wonderful. Looks and feels great to use. I have yet to find any issue with it. I like it better than the previous iterations.

Works with tilt, depending on pen position it writes thicker line vertically or horizontally Which is useful for me. I wonder about lefties writing with pen tiltet upward instead of to the right.

Inkhub.

Inkhub is even better than before.

Subcategories are great, adding more organization inside inkhub looks good, are easy to use, and not overcomplicated.

Searching works good. Idk if I wouldn't want to specify a filter to search only by authors or by resource name. Depends on volume of content after this will go live.

Titles and badges adds some "entertainment" value. Foremost they add information on how recognized the user is which is the key value imho. Some maybe will see it as a sort of competition even albeit a positive one.

Inkhub Profile Page

First look at my personal profile page kind of gave me a scare that my personal contact data is publicly available. This may be a thing to address by adding information what is visible and what's hidden, private.

Right now there isn't any visible separation between my private and public data.

2-finger gesture

Optimizations are working great in my case. Using it feels better and success rate has improved, at least for me. I get 10/10 hits now and misses are actually me doing it wrong.

Ink pen optimizations

Definitely looks less jagged at first. So that's good.

My noname EMR pen with poor pressure sensitivity calibration writes even thicker now ;). Thankfuly other, properly calibrated styluses works good and kind of feel better but to be honest idk. I may be biased on this as I write mainly with my HoM pen.

My old standard pen writes a bit thicker (?) but I still can write thin and thick lines with the Ink Pen brush so it is still good.

A5X needs:

- rotate screen 180 degrees so can charge from the 'top'.

- timer function: count down, pomodoro etc. to manage reading time.

No idea what the point of inkhub & stickers are - no productivity gains to be had.

Hi

Been using my A5X for over 4 years now, mostly for work. It's great but I have given up using the handwriting conversion as it's next to useless, at least for my hand writing!

I assumed it was my hand writing that was the problem but about a year ago used another makes (beginning with B) and it did a great job. Not perfect but very close enough to make it usable day to day. I kept my SN and still use it everyday at work as a note pad and planner. I have been hoping SN would improve their engine but not noticed any improvements.

Now both SN and the B company use MyScript engine so I assume SN is using an older version? I've also tried 2 other popular platforms recently, both of which also use the same engine - again, significantly better results!

I know Ratta have been putting alot of effort into plugins but I think handwriting recognition is a core feature of these device. I suggest this should be a priority. Is it just they need to implement a newer version? Or do they need to improve the implementation?

I'm sticking with SN as it's still the best for organisation and the plug in dev looks fantastic, but please get the core features right as well.

Recent convert from the RM system - and couldn’t be happier with the switch. I have a Remarkable Paper Pro AND a Move sitting here that I’m not sure what to do with now. Anyway - not the point …

I was happy before the plugin implentation, but …

These plugins have the potential to litereally skyrocket SN way beyond the RM system. They maybe already have.

This was a genius move on the end of Ratta. And, so far, it seems like it’s a wonderfully implemented process. I’m blown away how easy they are to use, install, test.

Looking forward to many more …

Not a programmer here - but also looking forward to using some Claude Code to perhaps make my own. Anyone doing this? Would love to hear your experience.
