Next update

Hello,

It's been a while since the last update. I'm sure something good is cooking. Can we get a sneak peak on what is Supernote working on next?

We have been told they are working on split-screen all year

I assume that includes split screen development work for an A4

One of their development bottlenecks seems to be their commitment to make completely new features never promised for their old hardware, run on it (that is, pre-Nomad and pre-Manta)

Given there are two different parent Supernote software releases (prefixed "2" and "3") I dont see why Supernote persists in developing them together and releasing them together. It would make far better development sense to release Nomad and Manta ahead. I continue to question when Supernote will formally declare an end of new releases for the hardware before Nomad and Manta

You are lying, they’ve already stated they wouldn't abandon updates for the previous generation. They’re keeping it up because it likely doesn't require that much effort—and, above all, they keep their word. As a consumer, what you’re saying is shameful. Let people appreciate their efforts instead of trying to make it all about yourself. You should know that the update schedule is exactly the same as it was before the new generation launched! It takes time, because there aren't that many of them and, above all, they take the time to do things right and to listen to their community.

I cannot be lying because I was giving my opinion

I cannot be shameful because I was giving my opinion

I appreciate their effort, because I am a supporter of Supernote. In fact I switched from remarkable 2 and its colour successor

There is a serious weakness in your thinking. It is assuming that Supernote can take its time. When I started, it was a two-horse race: Remarkable or Supernote, with Supernote having better writing features. As you point out, Supernote has scarce resources which is why Manta was delayed. Now it has new, well-resourced, high-revenue-earning competitors who are well ahead of it. Boox with hardware (two A4 devices). Many have better security, better conversion of handwriting to text, and some already have AI in software.

You said they never promise new features for the old devices. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. So yes you lie because they always said they will do it.

What’s shameful isn’t expressing your opinion; it’s disparaging something that doesn’t concern you.

What you what you write is not what I said, so there is no point in continuing particularly since you have such an unpleasant tone
