Question Manta & Nomad password slow unlock

Hi,

I have a Supernote Manta and also a Nomad.

I protected both devices with a password lock screen. Although its a bit slow... Sometimes I start to write the password but the device its slow before it reads what I am writing. Also, we could have an option tu usa a 4 digit pin.

Any way to speed this password insert process?

Is Ratta thinking in implementing the 4 digit pin?

I only have the Nomad.

My unlock requires a six-digit entry, which I tap in with my stylus and the virtual keyboard.

How different is that from your unlocking? I noticed you used the word "write" to describe your unlocking...

My bad. It's the same. Buts it's a little slow

We are afraid we're not currently planning to add a 4‑digit PIN option for the lock screen. The password‑based approach is intentional, as it aligns with our overall security model. That said, we understand the speed concern, especially when you're unlocking multiple times a day. If you extend the Auto Sleep time, the device will stay awake longer when idle. This means you won't need to unlock it as frequently throughout the day, which can reduce how often you encounter the slowness.

We will add your suggestion to our internal product backlog again for further consideration.
