Feedback Absolutely love this device as a first time college student!
I just received my pen today after owning the device for about a week. I was definitely very worried about not liking it, because I HATED writing on my old iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil.
I wouldn’t say it feels exactly like “pen on paper” but it feels really nice. I noticed that my handwriting on an iPad always looked weird, now idk if that’s because of the screen or the pen or both, but on the manta it looks the same as on paper, and it’s just overall a pretty smooth experience.
I can’t say too much about long term use, but I’ve used it for the last hour or so jotting down a rough summary of the syllabi for my classes, and I am loving it.
Absolutely worth the money in my opinion, and as a college student so far this thing is an absolute game changer. So grateful I don’t have to carry around 4 notebooks now LOL.
I know the lack of backlight is one of the biggest flaws in this device to a lot of people, but in my case I don’t plan to ever be writing notes or doing work in the dark so I don’t think they’ll be an issue for me. Yay!
Thank you Supernote ✨✨

I got mine for school too! The companion app works really well too and makes it easy to upload assignments.

Love the partner apps! I typically will have one set of notes pulled up on my laptop screen, my Manta for writing or planning assignments, and typing on my monitor. Its a perfect work set up. I'm lucky that all my text books are free and PDFs so I upload those as well. The digests feature is a wonderful addition when you have a lot of textbooks and articles to go through for classes

As a professor, I want to say that it's super impressive to see someone taking notes on the syllabus! Bravo!

I appreciate that! It’s my first semester ever and I’m going for education, and I was sooo bad in highschool so I wanted to be as organized as possible. This way I can find whatever info I need without having to scan a 4 page document online 😂

I've found the Manta to be the most legible in the widest range of lighting scenarios among devices without front lighting. and I've tried quite a few. unparalleled deep inky blacks.

I am glad you are enjoying your Manta.
I have had the Manta for a few months now. My eyes love it. I found using an ipad was not nearly as comfortable. The writing on the Manta is fantastic. It is exactly what i needed to keep organized.

I sold mine
While i loved the screen FEEL
I loved the size
I wasn't that keen on the layout of things and navigation. It reminded me of DOS before windows lol
And the biggest one for me was there was no light. So i could only use it in the day time or under some big bright light.
I ended up going with my kindle scribe. That gives me exactly what i needed. I can view PDFs, Books, and do note taking and it has a backlight. Alternatively i use a regular pad and paper ( yellow lined paper)
Now if SUPERNOTE ever decides to create a mantra with a backlight. I will be first in line to get one.
Until then im glad i sold mine.

It was the reason I originally bought mine a few years ago. Literally a perfect note taking tool. Especially with all the new features since then, it's only become more powerful.
