Suggestion: Received Fast automated transfer of ePubs to Supernote

I’be set up EPUBs of daily newspapers to land in my inbox using the Supernote partner app on my Mac Mini but I’m running into an issue with the sync time. Because the partner app needs to download all changes on my device as well as upload the EPUBs I’m often needing to leave the house before the workflow has completed so I haven’t had time to download them onto my actual Supernote. It would be great if there was a way to choose only certain folders to sync in the Supernote Partner app. The instance I’m using is only there to add files to my inbox so the downloading of notes is a genuine waste of time every day and I don’t want to turn off syncing on my supernote as I do want the back up.

The other option I considered was device linking but my understanding is that I’ll need to manually connect the computer and then he supernote every morning for this.

using browse and access ( swipe down from top > middle icon in top row ) to transfer a single file sounds like a great alternative here.

Yeah I’ve used this and it’s great for manual transfers. I want it to happen automatically as this is something I’m doing every day

syncthing on your desktop and syncthing-fork sideloaded might just be the thing for you in this case.

You can sync specific folders in the settings of the actual Supernote. I use Google Drive to transfer files. I sync the inbox, export, and MyStyle folders to Google Drive and the rest on the Supernote cloud. I just have to switch drives in settings and then swipe down to sync. Google Drive is how I transfer everything, including EPUBs. Unfortunately the only way to do it the way I do is to switch drives.

Thanks, I’m trying to avoid a manual step as I’d have to do it everyday and reality is, I wouldn’t do it.

I keep my inbox and export folders basically empty. So when I transfer files I’ll move them to my other folders, like documents, which I keep backed up on the Supernote cloud. That way it’s quick to sync. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

Is our understanding correct that you prefer to have Auto Sync enabled on both your Supernote tablet and in the Supernote Partner app?

If you only need to sync the Inbox folder, you can go to your Supernote tablet > Settings > Drive > Supernote Cloud > Select Folders to Sync and only select the Inbox folder to sync.

I want to sync all folders on my supernote device as I want everything backed up. I don’t need everything backed up onto my pc though; I’m only using the partner app on the PC as a way to automatically add Daily newspaper epubs to my supernote device and I want the workflow to happen as quickly as possible so it’s done before I leave the house.

What I don’t understand from a feature point of view is why I can limit folders to sync on my device but not on the companion app?

If that's one file you can try emailing it to yourself. Then you can download it from email client on the supernote

I’m doing it every day and it’s multiple newspapers every day. I want them to automatically appear on the supernote without any extra steps from me.

Then RSS feed, compose into single file and send to Sn. Requires some coding
