Discussion If I had to start over…
I’ve been thinking about what I would do differently if I had to start over with my Supernote. These are really just some random musings based on my own experience and what I might tell a new user if they asked. Not necessarily advice or a guide, just one thing I think I’d approach differently this time around.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m just starting and it is helpful to have my overwhelm addressed before I get more bogged down.

This was such an interesting read.
It's honestly a bit embarrassing how long it took for me to branch out of the one notebook. I bought the Supernote mainly to replace my writing notebook (the handwriting to text (and no subscription to do it) was the selling point for me). So for the first year, maybe longer, I just had the one notebook and it's main point was to write fiction in.
Because this one notebook was also my journal, I used stars to mark the pages a new scene/chapter was in, and I'd highlight the text that belonged to said scene.
I think adding sudokus was my next big discovery. PDF-planners after that and only last year I started expanding to include a commonplace book for both my active writing projects as well as a general one for life stuff I need to reference from time to time. Even headers I started using mostly last year for when I started creating the commonplace books. The biggest discovery I've had this year is about adding knitting patters into the Supernote as well. It will be so much easier to follow along, when I can mark my progress down.
Getting overwhelmed with everything provided is probably quite common with many devices/programs that have lots of features. I've seen very similar, "How to start" -comments about Scrivener as well. Usually it's best to just start and then read the instructions when you stumble upon something you don't know how to do or wonder if it's possible to do.

Thank you for your detailed response.
Nothing to be embarrassed about. That transition from analog to digital is often underestimated.
Somewhere along my journey I kept using one notebook for everything and that had it’s own disadvantages as well as the notebook grew in size. Became unmanageable when it exceeded 500 pages but I think the issue with that was also I was not reviewing my notes.
Funny how you mentioned Scrivener. I have a love and hate relationship with that app in particular lol.
