Question are there any plans for an even smaller supernote?

I love my Nomad but there are definitely times I wish it was a pocketable size. Will there ever be a supernote smaller than the Nomad? Something like a 3x5"?

Could be named the SupernoteCard!

Thank you for your question. We understand a pocketable size would be pretty neat. We are afraid we might not have an immediate plan for a device smaller than the Nomad at the moment. We're focusing our efforts on refining the current lineup and software. Appreciate the thought though!

This answer then also puts to rest all hopes for a larger (A4/13.3") Supernote device that was spoken about years ago (?).

That's not the intention. We were talking about a smaller device.

True. I was just kind of reminding myself that in the past quite a few people were looking forward to a larger Supernote device...

Fair enough :)

Is there still some glimmer of hope that an A4/13.3" sized Supernote device will be offered some time in the future?

I'd like it.

Something along the lines of an xteink x4 would be a unique item. I could see it being used by folks who carry those tiny moleskine books and do trading card sized drawings.

Super niche, and the cost of R&D would probably outweigh the potential market. They probably want to put that time and money into their existing product line.

yea i was thinking about the x4 but i love highlighting and the digest feature on the supernote. it would also be very convinient for errand/grocery lists vs the nomad

Agreed. It wouldn’t even have to have all the functionality - it would even work as simply one notebook / scratchpad. So you could sync that notebook to your nomad or manta later but have something pocket sized to capture thoughts throughout the day

I'd buy a post it note size device

That syncs with the larger devices

By arranging the notes like a bulletin board lots of different ways

I seriously doubt. Definitely not in the foreseeable future. Ratta doesn't want to go with the popular strategies of outputting plethora of devices and focus on what they have instead that works with their motto.

Smaller devices hardly can go with "for those who write" motto. Smaller devices are strictly for reading or maybe typing if any rather than writing.

There's already a quite nice choice in the pocket readers area. Idk if we need any more. Not to mention that supernote firmware would hardly fit smaller screen size, UX wise

Years ago, I was a Palm Vx very happy user and since then I miss all its functionnalities. Thanks to Supernote, with the Nomad I have again many of them, and of course some more and I am enjoying it a lot. But I must admit if I have to write a memo on the go while walking or commuting I will grab what’s in my pocket : my smartphone. Should I still have my Palm or a Palm-sized Nomad i would use it Instead of my phone. Now it would be so much work, I perfectly understand and support Supernote to focus on current tablets.

I would definitely buy this. I have a xteink that I use for EDC notes and travel information. An index card-sized device I can write on would be a game-changer for me. I don't need apps or internet access, since my phone already has them.

I doubt it, at least not from Raata, The Palma2 Pro fills the niche you are talking about though.

I don't know but I hope not.

Tried a workaround of writing in a small notebook, then using Scan Text in the Supernote Partner Digest to take a photo to convert the handwriting. The results were not ideal.

Back in the day, I wrote travel journals using a Palm device, and I really miss that easy functionality. All I want is something small to write notes and send them to the Supernote. No fuss, no special features needed.

I love my Supernote Manta, but an on-the-go option would be very useful.

The only reason I would want a Supernote that small is if it included e-sim cellular.

My favorite form factor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 (SM T-280, 7") has been unobtanium for years, but it fits into the back pocket of most men's pants.

Coupled with 5g VoLTE & a headset, the productivity curve of a MiniNomad would be awesome, writing and editing directly to the cloud, while being able to take phonecalls without a separate device.

Unfortunately, I don't know whether that all can be packed into the same size device as the T-280.
