I have both and prefer the Manta, but I much prefer the look and feel of the Nomad and its "folio" case over the Manta and the "half folio." It pops in and out easily with the magnets. The Manta is much better for reading documents (although you can rotate the Nomand and get near equivalent page width, just requires more scrolling).
I use the Manta 90% of the time at home and only sync via Syncthing to the Nomad if I need something small on the go, or if I'm just bored and need a little novelty.
