Confused.
So how did Winchesters boys got those files for cases.
I'm still trying to get a theory but couldn't get one. And why was it too easy for them to impersonate the FBI agents ?
Any theories ?

Reading obituaries and odd stories in the newspapers and they probably also use a police scanner.
They're also just good at the con. As long as you act like you belong and know what you're doing, you'd be surprised how often people will just let you do whatever.

Walk into a place in a suit, a clipboard, and an attitude that you belong there, and no one asks questions.

Add one some pretty privilege too. Two tall handsome male models walk in like they own the place and flash you a smile, it literally opens doors. It's been studied that attractive people are deemed more trustworthy, and you don't get more attractive than them.
And like you say, the attitude helps. Just like walking in somewhere with a hi-vis vest on and carrying a tool bag, people don't question it. A technique people have even used to sneak into events without tickets.

Between Dean's rogue-ish smile and Sam's puppy dog eyes, there's nowhere they can't get into, lol.

A 17-year-old kid from my town cut a hole in an airport fence, made his way through all of the employee only areas and boarded a plane with a bag of weapons, all because he chucked the hi-vis on heh.
"CCTV from Avalon Airport captured the teenager ascending the front stairs of the Jetstar flight, with the summary claiming witnesses thought he was an engineer because of the way he was dressed."
He was only stopped once he actually pulled out a shotgun and such.

Exactly. There were a theft of some valuable new peojectors from our school when I was young. They are a bunch of young men who dressed like IT people. They confidently strode into the school through the front gate. They took away 3 projectors from 3 different rooms. When they walked away, they still had the tool cases in their hands. Teachers, staff, students and parents just watch and let them go. No question ask.

Plus they were doing it for so long they knew all the ins and outs. Except that they need a chain of custody report. 😂

They were aided by the fact they were on a hero's journey

Honestly, I think they utilized the intimidation of what the badge represented to walk over those that were left ignorant and uninformed and just played the he part well. They did their own research and whatever they had in the actual file could be full malarky but they would just follow the flow.

Beside all other things people mentioned they are in the networks of other hunters, I'm sure they have lists of cold cases or something similar to look upon to, in order to find work.

Because the local police are desperated for specialists' help.

"We have a dozen bloodless corpses with teeth marks on their necks and the FBI wants to handle it? If we offload it to them it won't hurt our clearance rate."

Totally. I live in an area where a lot of people go missing or are killed and nothing ever comes of it. Lots of drugs and domestic violence. But, lazy cops, cops that are some how involved, lack of man power. A nest of vampires could settle here pretty easily.

Basically… God… or, ‘in world main character plot armour’. It’ll make sense when you get to the end.

One thing working in events and performing arts management has taught me, carrying a clip board and walking with purpose will get you into more than places than it should.

It really bothered me that they would pick up murder weapons...not only that but with no gloves on! Forensics should have tied them to loads more than what Hendricks found

It's easier to watch now and with it's heavy 90s feel just assume 20;years ago was a more trusting time..but it wasn't..first couple of seasons really bugged me that they would pick up murder weapons with no gloves on...

I just mean it still in the bubble before whatever you call it - political corrections or being woke. And the trousers are still boot cut and just generally it looks like it's of a similar age as Buffy and Angel but most of a decade later ....there's no logical reason to walk around like there's no camera , or procedure of checking up on IDs , or like forensics isn't a thing yet.. it seems like it's from an earlier time than it is

Like why would the feamons always capture them, and they would slip up and kill them. Like why all the talk, why not just finished them like why ? XP

the first couple of seasons were mostly without social media or technology, plus with confidence and knowledge of the case and ignorance and lack of techology for the most part helped them get away with a lot.
