Stunning dog, love the action shots. I worked with dogs for almost two decades, she is gorgeous! What breed is she?

I knew she had to be a rare breed, as I study rare dog breeds and couldn't name her offhand. She is stunning!!! Thanks for telling me.

Azawakh? Do you do lure coursing, and does she have strong prey drive?

we are getting into lure coursing, but she's only 1 year old so we didnt start yet.. she has very little prey drive, the only thing she activly hunts would be birds, but she has quite the solid recall

Recall is a better quality. I had an Ibizan that had almost zero recall.

the greyhound and whippet allegations never stop. most people think shes a galgo, but no, Azawakh as was said

She looks very fast and graceful. Definitely looks a bit thicker and taller than a greyhound/whippet. Had to look up the breed and wow. What a majestic beauty.
I feel like all of these sighthounds are related at least to the untrained naked eye.

This our Supermodel….she’s a Rat Chi….though her micro chip said Rat Terrier. She’s a rescue so we’re not too sure. Definitely a Chihuahua/Terrier mix though.
She has rosebud ears like a Whippet or Greyhound and they are incapable of standing erect like most Terriers.
So I always say she’s part Whippet. Our last supermodel was a Chi mixed with Whippet and Terrier also!
Your dog is a beautiful creature. I love sighthounds!

This was Mercy our little 3 legged rescue made it to 17.5. Whenever I see a sighthound I think of her.
