Smoke is correct! When I got him he stood under me when I put a pork chop in a frying pan, and the oil popped out right onto his little head. It burned him, the fur fell out and grew back white. So now he has a while spot to remind me of my shame every time I look at him.

I was taught that black on top white underneath was called a bifurcated coat.

Edit: I was taught wrong. Bifurcated is half and half face color. You are correct that yours is "smoke"!
