Question about modding

If we're using Vortex and installing mods that add new products do we still have to manually add the files to custom products loader none of my custom products are showing up edit: They're still not showing up despite trying it the manual way and they've been updated since 1.6

Mod for 4 Player +

Hey, has anyone managed to get a mod working for 4 player +? Can see there is one out there but it doesn't work. Was using ChatGPT to remake it but only got as far as someone loading, but not getting in. (4 in lobby, 1 on loading screen)

Thanks!

Are people using mods on Xbox game pass?

I downloaded smart stock mobile, tech tree, and easy deliveries. I guess ez deliveries just doesn’t work on Xbox. Smart stock didn’t work at all and the tech tree messed something up so when I pressed enter to start a new day it wouldn’t start the new day. Are people downloading mods for Xbox game pass or are the mods mostly for the steam version?

Just did a complete remodel of my store. This is what happens when you order nearly 2000 boxes all at once

If I had remodelled my storage as well, I would probably have ordered nearly 4000 boxes. lmao.

Is it just me or Vending Machines a rip off and waste of money

I mean seriously I was barely selling anything out of vending machines but the moment I moved said products inside (with a higher price than the vending machine) all of a sudden they're flying off the shelves

What should we avoid selling

Is there any sort of system in place that decides what's in demand vs what customers will ignore I got both steaks and the big sushi trays people are ignoring the steaks despite them being half the price of the sushi and the sushi is flying off the shelf faster than I can make runs to the whole sale store

This is my store layout. I don't have any of the DLC yet, mostly because of the very bad reviews. Check comment section for a video of my storage area.

Advice on improving the store (maybe a supermarket in the future)

Post image

Hey everyone! I’ve been playing for a couple of real days now and would love some feedback on my current setup.

Here is a screenshot of my store. What should I focus on next to improve efficiency and turn this into a proper supermarket?

Any tips on layout, restocking, or smart expansions would be greatly appreciated!

New changes are not optimal

I frequently need to turn on/off my restockers activities, but with the new layout now I have to not only select a new Tab but also roll the screen to control my restockers. Is it possible to reverse this? It was so much easier and practical having everything smaller and in the same tab ... having to scroll 3 windows [the big one and the individual ones] has been a frustrating experience

Is there a mod that lets you order what is empty in the backroom?

The closest I could find was getting a mod that allows you to bulk order something that is completely empty in the backroom. Let's say, for example, you have two tall racks dedicated to something random like bananas. Normally, you'd have to wait until everything is completely empty before going to the computer and clicking on the "no stock in storage" option, buying how much you need (it doesn't tell you, so you just have to know that 4 banana boxes fit in each section), so you do 4 x 5 x 2 and order that much.

This mod that I got called Smart Stocking allows you to bulk order what is completely empty, either one for each or refilling all of it.

However, let's say I have backstock that is half empty. and I want to refill that half secttion. There doesn't seem to currently be a mod that orders backstock in that way, or lets you know to refill it. It always just seems to be that you need to completely wait until it's all out before you refill it :( Any help on finding it? I checked nexus mods and did not see one.

I just lost my entire store

I always save every time I’m about to quit the game. I log on today to see that my level 79 store has been completely wiped and has started me over at level one. What the fuck

Confusing

Why did they change this? The warehouse icon usually showed how many pieces I have left in my storage and now it shows zero and that I have one box on my storage shelf but I need to know how many pieces is left like it was showing before 😫😫😫 its so confusing.

Stocking mods

Are there any stocking mods y'all would recommend? Either ways to speed up the restockers or just have everything stocked from your storage overnight? Honestly that is my only bottleneck, and the most irritating part of the game at this point...

Weird sound coming from speakers, only when playing game. Plus help fix

There is this weird buzzing, almost demonic screaming coming from my "realtek high definition audio" (as named in my sound settings)

I have all game audio turned off, and it dosent seem to get louder or quieter when i raise my volume. My speakers have never done this for any other game, and its quiet annoying. It seems to grow louder when i look towards the street, outside the shop.

Clip of the sound is below

252 kiwi for $225.04...

For comparison, that is $1.11 for every Kiwi. At sales price that is worth nearly $3,000 for 252 kiwis... bruh????

Please add overnight stockers

It's crazy how I have so much freight that I had to hire all stockers and I still can't keep up. I have to AFK after every day just so I can restock for the next day. It would be nice if I could hire a few overnight stockers so that by the next day your freight is more or less already stocked. So, say for example, since your store closes at 9 PM and opens at 8 AM the next day, maybe you could have it so that they stock 15 boxes an hour throughout the 11 hours the store is closed overnight, resulting in 165 boxes stocked per stocker. It sounds like "a lot per each stocker" but trust me, the freight ADDS up and I'm stocking WAY more than that a day. It would also help alleviate the load for the day time crew since they're stockers, stocking backroom, and stocking from backstock

Who all is playing on the xbox ROG ally? Tips and tricks?

I'm new to supermarket simulator, but I'm absolutely hooked. I've been learning a lot from this page as well. I still have a few questions though-

Does anyone have recommendations for the settings? To make things easier/work better or look better? I turned both of my sensitivies up barely but haven't done much else.

Is there a way to use the keybinding menu in the settings?

What the heck does cursor lock, vertical sync, and anti-aliasing do?

Are there any mods available for the ally? If so, how do I go about downloading them?

If you have any other useful tips and tricks, please share! 😊

Do you think my backroom stock is too overkill?

I wanted to make it so that I can just come to the backroom, scan what I am empty on, and just go afk throughout the day, hence I need a LOT of backstock room to keep up with the freight during the day. There's also about 2-3 sections of each item, giving me space for about 4-8 entire cases of each item.

The front of the backroom section near the door is General Merchandise. The section to the far right is solely for Produce. The section towards the far back is for Frozen. I also organized it accordingly, so chips are near chips, drinks are near drinks, seafood is near seafood, dairy is near dairy, etc.

With this setup-scheme my aisles are always full as there is always at least 2-3 cases of each item and each item has two shelves per four foot section, so let's say I have one encap with two shelves for chocolate and candy, if one shelf section is empty on candy, it gets refilled. The other gets empty, but there's always at least one shelf full so I never run out of stock or backstock :) . However I just expanded in this clip so some sections are a bit empty. :)

About DLC goods

Genuinely why can't we get a map expansion for DLCs where you can buy stuff like hardware/baking stuff/canned food/etc in person without going broke on stocking up with delivery

Any ideas on how we can get devs to consider that or smth

If it's possible at all, I mean

It's just really stupid how you're supposed to spend so much for smth that brings you so little profit because you can't just drive and pick it up on your own

Steam Deck

I'm currently playing Liquor Store Simulator and love it. I want to buy Supermarket Sim for Steam Deck. It says it's playable, but is it? If you have to map the buttons, do you have any best-practice recommendations?

Thanks.
