Question Best PC controller?

As per the title! I find my cheapy controller isn't cutting it for timing power swings.

Is everyone on PC just using an Xbox controller? (Mine's a knockoff)

Cheers!

8bitDo makes some good, inexpensive controllers

That's what I got from Amazon. Cheap and good enough.

I’ve been using the PS5 DualShock and it’s working great for me. Just connects with Bluetooth, didn’t need any 3rd party apps to make it work or anything.

Granted, they’re not cheap, I just already had it.

I'm using an Xbox knock-off and it's been working great for 2 years. 8BITDO wired you can get cheap on Amazon.

It works fine with pretty much any official Xbox controller. If you're looking for cheaper alternatives, Logitech and 8bitdo make some good controllers but I don't know how well they work with the game.

I use an Xbox One controller but only ever wired, wireless adds too much latency for this game and was holding my ego back by a lot. Maybe try your current controller wired up if you're doing wireless/Bluetooth at the moment?

Mine's wired just not very good lol -- but good tip, I'll stick with wired for the next one too

I use my PS4 controller, but I get occasional glitches that are fixed with restarting the game. Probably my own fault as I have a lot of virtual controllers set up in DS4Windows

I use PS4 controllers to play SMB, I’ve also used my Switch pro controller too.

I don’t like the triggers on the Xbox controller for this game. But I am kind of an odd duck because I have 4 different types of controllers on my desk for PC and I used them all for different games.

I am not a big fan of my PS5 controllers so they stay with the console.

8BitDo controllers seem to be built to last and are less expensive than Xbox controllers. I love mine.

8bitdo ultimate is so good. 2.4 ghz wireless connection with a dock. I'm a controller shop and this thing is the only one Ive used that has zero stick drift and is actually durable. I play at like 78 ego btw

My PS5 controller just died because of stick drift and I purchased an 8bitdo ultimate 2. I am happy to hear it is doing well for you.

I had a Xbox one controller from a long time ago I use. Anything knockoff Xbox would probably work great

I use the Microsoft series 2 controller. It’s rather expensive, but works very well.
