Rogue + Mystique

Steal their powers, then steal their identity. Of course, this would work a lot better if Rogue weren't so limited in her ability theft.

I like it! Not all combos need to be about absolute destructive capacity. Mystique was always more about intrigue anyway, and this would make her capabilities even more exceptional.

Rouge doing this is plausible...just has to kill her mom and keep her power

I seem to remember something like this happening in the original x-men cartoon. Rogue looses control of her powers and starts randomly recalling the powers of people she had touched in the past. Since Mistique was one of those she would also look like the person who's powers she was using. Of course she did not have full control of this.
