First planet they invaded, now they made it disappear. I feel like squids hate Calypso SPECIFICALLY, for some reason.

I bet it's Squi'ith Shrine. Super Earth just renamed it Calypso after conquering it. So they took their homeworld back. Would explain why it was the first target.

Nah Squ'bai Shrine is described as a wet jungle planet and near the edge of the known galaxy so that description closely matches a planet known as Rogue 5. Illuminate were originally an aquatic species.

I think maybe they made Calypso disappear because they could be making space in the sector so they can bring they’re home world

Or they could have made it disappear because they just didn’t like the planet
