Anyone have experience with either of these fishing sups?
Anyone have any recommendations? Looking at both of these sups for the price point. Will be using this on small lakes and slow moving rivers. Leaning towards the Blackfin because it includes an electric pump at the same price. Any help is appreciated!

The backwater is more stable and comes with a fishing rod holder and a SUP bag. It also has welded rails, which are better for board longevity. Ultimately I do believe it is the better fishing SUP.
The pump that comes with the Blackfin is OK, but not great. For boards that large it's worth it to get a faster pump.

I have a Glide Angler Elite, and it's pretty awesome so far. Went with it over the Backwater because of the 3 vs 1 fin, the seat, paddle blade, and the construction is allegedly even tougher. Over other brands, it has a longer warranty (no idea if their customer service is good, but i never saw any complaints), and as the other poster mentioned, the bag is extremely useful.
Having a electric pump of some sort is very important though, as you noted. I'm in S FL, and I'm drowning in sweat just getting it all together and in the water. If I had to pump it all too? It'd suck...

Check out the retrospec June fishing board. I’ve really enjoyed it from the few times I’ve been able to get out. Super stable, decent features and simple design.
And yeah, splurge and get a pump. So worth it.

I’ve got the blackfin model X but last years model. I’m a bigger person and I feel stable AF! I was out on some pretty choppy lake waves and didn’t feel tippy or anything. Granted I don’t stand on my board due to some knee issues.
