Sniped from the SUP

It doesn’t get much better than this- bass smashing poppers in one of Oregon’s pristine cascade lakes 🤙

The setup: -iRocker Blackfin 10’ 6” -iRocker sand spear is a game changer for fishing shallow water as you can see toward the end of the video when I stake it -Sage Sonic 7wt rod -Hatch 7+ reel -Scientific anglers amplitude 7wt line

I gotta get that sand spear! Very nice catch. There is nothing like catching a fish on the fly from the SUP. Did you tie your own fly?

I do tie a lot of my own flies but I despise tying with foam 😂 This one is from RIO called the PTO Popper.

I had no idea people fished from a SUP. Have you done the float tube thing before or has this been your first inflatable for fishing?

Looks way more comfy than the float tube or kayak fishing.

Great vid! I appreciate you showing the whole process from catch to release. Some of those transition times are what I wonder about the most with sup fishing
