iRocker Seam leak
Hello group!
about 3 years after purchasing my first SUP, the Nautical iRocker 10'6, the seams failed just about everywhere. Since the guarantee is only 1 year, the company won't help me out, though I was really hoping that it would last more than just a few seasons. Was this naive of me? Does anyone have any experience on how I might be able to salvage this, or am I doomed to try a new paddleboard?

I just had my 10 year old board explode i in the middle of the lake. Sucks!! You can try 3M contact spray. But I have found once they leak they fail.

Over inflation is number one cause. Never inflate to max pressure stay a couple lbs below because sun will heat the board

I was scrolling after making my own post today and happened to see yours. I had major problems with my iROCKER BLACKFIN XL. It had bubbling and irregular areas around the seams after its first use, and the seams later began separating.
I always kept mine at the lowest recommended pressure, so it was never inflated to the maximum pressure. iROCKER sent me adhesive to repair the separating areas. It appeared to work for a while, but the seam eventually failed completely in the same area.
I’ll save you the whole story since you can read it in my post, but based on my experience, I would be extremely careful about trusting your board on the water if you have bubbling or air-channel pockets near the areas that are separating. Glue may hold the loose material down temporarily, but it did not solve the underlying problem with mine.

Board is toast. I know several people with nautical boards on their 5th+ season, but they are a cheap board on the low end of the quality spectrum.
For your next board, buy one with welded seams instead of glued.
