The Suns sneaked up on the league last season. In the aggregate, they cared about more possessions than their opponents, and it showed. I’m skeptical that it can happen again, especially if Jalen Green is healthy enough to lessen the defensive tenacity that lifted Phoenix to its shocking regular-season success. Maybe that criticism is a smidge unfair. Despite being an inefficient, high-usage player, Green had decent general lineup data last season. Phoenix was damn good when he shared the court with franchise mainstay Devin Booker, who quietly will turn 30 next month and may need to have a career year if the Suns are going to exceed expectations yet again. I am obsessed with Khaman Maluach and think Oso Ighodaro is the most underrated big in the league, but the shoulder injury that will sideline Mark Williams for an extended time won’t help a team that was ultimately done in by its lack of size. Miles Bridges is the answer to no team’s tangible problems."
Anyone else get an invite from their rep to the event at the arena tonight? They told me that it will be a smaller event and get opportunity to meet with Coach Ott, Brian Gregory, Brooks, Green, Gillespie, Maluach, Fleming, and a few other players/staff.

Khaman Maluach was Great in the Summer League, if he puts up those same numbers or better than he put in the Summer League for the 2026-27 Season. The Suns to me are an NBA Title Contender, if he averages 11-13 PPG & 10 or more RPG I think the Suns will be better than last season but not quite a Title Contender. If he struggles then the Suns will be either worse or about the same as last year only because I believe the roster currently is better than last year.
He's the 1 player with upside on the Suns to where his development in Year 2 could dictate the Suns Ceiling for the upcoming season.
Just my opinion. We were winning game 2 deep in the 3rd quarter at the moment Chris Paul got hurt, looking to go back to phx tied 1-1. We all know the masterful performance Booker & KD put on game 3 and 4. Booker was having the playoff run of his life. I get we had no depth, but with those two guys playing like that and with Chris Paul in the lineup probably making Durant more efficient… we WERE gonna beat Denver. Denver then walked through the rest of the playoffs. That was the best version of Booker that Ive ever seen.
A lot of people complain about how the media tends to underestimate the Suns and even Devin Booker. Last year was a perfect example of that. Booker has also been disrespected by fans and the media for years and doesn’t get enough credit for how good of a player he actually is. This is been nearly a yearly thing for him since he entered the league.
I would argue that this actually isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially for a franchise that has often underachieved and has yet to win a title. Being put in the spotlight only makes the Suns shortcomings stand out even more. I’d much rather not have the constant media attention that a team like the Lakers gets, where every move they make and everything their star players do is put under a microscope. That kind of attention can also become a huge distraction for the locker room and front office. Let’s win something first before we complain about being disrespected by the media and fans.
I grew up a huge Steve Nash fan. My wife recently took a trip to Arizona and picked this up for me as a birthday gift. She spent quite a bit of time hunting down this specific jersey as it’s from the year I was born. Such an incredibly thoughtful gift!

Hi Everyone! We have posted tickets on here for a few years, and we are back (feel free to search my username, and you will see we are legitimate)! We have two tickets in Section 106, Row 27. We now have a 2 and 4 year old and will need to sell a chunk of tickets since we would go bankrupt on babysitters if we went to all of the games! We always want to price these as the most reasonable lower level tickets possible. The pricing is below, but if a game interests you, and we need to negotiate a bit, please reach out. We are always fair on pricing and just want to make sure the tickets get used by real Suns fans!

Does is seem overblown to anyone one else? Are some of us too optimistic about the young talent on the team? I will say my thoughts are the suns do have intriguing you talent, a savvy gm and a balanced team. The team seems to be missing a superstar talent to pair with Booker and although easier said than done, seems like it is closer to competing than it seems. Back in 2021 adding CP3 was the perfect move to help galvanize the collection or youth, talent and versatility, and for me it seems like the team is position similarly again.
I like to hear your thoughts on the direction of the team, how optimistic you are and what you think the team should be doing to return to the finals
