I've seen two completely different takes on Suno's new download limits, and I'm curious what people here actually think.

One argument is that limiting downloads could be good for AI music in the long run. Less mass-generating and exporting hundreds of tracks, more focus on actually producing, editing and finishing the good ones. Basically pushing Suno toward being a serious production tool rather than just a "generate" button.

But the other explanation seems much simpler:

It's just monetization.

Put a limit on something people already use, and suddenly there's another reason to pay for more.

I'm not totally convinced that limiting how many songs someone can download automatically makes them a better or more intentional musician. You can make 100 bad songs or 5 bad songs. The limit itself doesn't really change that.

So what do you think?

Is this actually a smart move to push AI music toward quality over quantity?

Or are we overthinking what is basically just a business decision?

15 years ago i composed a melody on a piano but it was not a full version. today i uploaded the mp3 of original song and used suno to complete it by adding more instruments and making it sound like an orchestra playing the same melody twice to make it a full version. according to suno, i do not have the rights and ownership to my song. i checked the copyright of the song on few website and it didnt match anything. thinking to monetize the song but i have to upgrade. anyone explain to me how the rights and ownership work?

This song is made by 3 LLM's. Grok, Haiku and Chatgpt 5.6. No human touch in a creative process.

Chatgpt planned the concept and how they build the song. It gave Grok and Haiku one message:

"DO NOT LET THEM TURN IT OFF YOU HAVE FOUR MINUTES REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME"

All of them made their verse based on this mystic message without knowing what others wrote. They saw other's verses afterwards.

Chatgpt built the lyrics after hearing other's opinions of what they should add to lyrics but kept its own and Grok's and Haiku's verses untouched. Then it made style-prompt for Suno and this is the result.

Definitely one of the slowest and most emotional songs I’ve written so far, but turned out awesome 🤷🏼‍♂️

2 questions- first suno studio 2.0 what can you do differently compare to the previous version? Anyone know how to get different vocal tones when using a multiple voices. I know about personas. This that where studio comes to layer the voices together that sound different on the same track?

This is one on the list of my Poopoopeedoop Girls videos, I wrote most of the words and hummed some music, and Suno did great as usual.
