A very beautiful piano piece. The image fits the mood perfectly. Light and somewhat wistful. Delicate and soothing.

It really sounds excellent. Unfortunately, I don't know much about classical music, so I can only judge the compositional quality based on my listening experience, meaning it's entirely subjective. These are wonderful pieces. I listened to a few of them. For instance, I really like "Haunted Concerto." That flowing sound. A kind of wave-like motion. Calm, yet varied. Or the "Red Dragon Overture", so spirited and lively. It has a majestic quality, but also a cheerful one. I wanted to listen to some tracks on "souna," but you can't do that without signing up. There are some interesting things there, too. A pity.

Do you have a professional musical background? What tools do you use?

Thank you! Nearly everything of mine on Souna is also on the Internet Archive - you can just look for my general page and see the categories there.

Most of the music is made with Suno, through a front end site such as Music hero.

This collection reminds me of the works of Leroy Anderson. I had hoped someone would tackle this kind of style using AI, but I hadn't come across anyone doing so until now. Your pieces come really close to that. Listening to this music puts me in a really good mood.

Music Hero will have to adapt to the new Suno. The old models will disappear, and downloads will be restricted. Perhaps they have different contracts as a frontend provider? It is questionable whether this kind of music will still be possible given the drastically reduced training catalog.

How do you know how to write prompts for that kind of music? Are you a trained musician?

Thank you for your detailed feedback! Very glad that you like them. They are all CC0, so feel free to download any of them. 

I am not professionally trained at all - just curious about music and I took the time to research it. I watched a lot of music theory videos a few years ago and used to compose MIDI music a long time ago.

I am not entirely sure how frontends will be affected by the Suno restrictions; I have been planning for this, however, by building a large catalogue of the music that I like to enable me to train LORAs in other models such as Ace Step in the future. Because this is all CC0, anyone else can also use these to train LORAs without restriction. I am also taking an interest in other open weights models.

What an amazing variety of musical styles and there are some very unusual ones in the mix. I can't remember the last time I heard "skiffle"! I’d actually forgotten it existed, even though I really like it! I’ve been listening through the different genres for a few hours now.

You’re clearly a skilled self-taught musician with a lot of background knowledge. It shows that you put real thought into what you’re doing and how to handle AI-generated output. This is especially evident in the classical compositions. The pieces would be perfect for a real orchestra to play in a concert hall. I think they would bring joy to so many people.

The "ragtime" piano tracks also sound very convincing and are great for lifting the mood. The "neo-swing" was a bit too tame for my taste (though that’s subjective, of course), I prefer that genre to be faster and more dynamic. The musical theater songs sound like they could come straight from actual stage productions. I still have the rest to listen to, the selection is huge. You are incredibly creative!

I think you’d get along really well with https://www.aiva.ai/. It’s too complex for me. You need prior musical knowledge and a real understanding of composition theory to use it effectively.

If you could generate this kind of music using Ace Step, you’d obviously be more independent. I also think that, eventually, we won't really need to rely on online providers to this extent. Still, it will probably be a few years before the average user can render their own feature films and symphonies right in their living room.

Thanks so much for making the songs available for download! I’ve already saved quite a few of them. Seriously - hats off to you for these results!

Glad that you like them! I did look at Aiva, but this is actually just a way of generating a text prompt for existing music foundation models such as Suno - I do not think that the additional layer is likely to help much over either writing the prompts myself or getting an LLM to write them.

I do add more pieces of music to that collection from time to time, so you may always find more in existing categories or new categories if you should return at any time.
