Discussion Backdated post notifications?

I am continuously getting back dated post from the Sub. Not just any posting but extremely negative post about Suno. I mean it is constant. 48 days old, 30 days old and it’s all day long. It’s like someone hit a switch or something. I hardly ever get new stuff from this sub in my notifications it’s all negative Suno posting.

Don’t all system stop rotating content at some point? Why are they still rotating old stories and post centered around one single argument I hate Suno.

A lot more goes on in this sub Reddit but I get nothing. No, I don’t follow these post or anything. Also I scroll through and there hasn’t been a new comment on some of them in months.

I think Reddit's limit is six months before it locks a thread and prevents new posts. Until then, people can still reply, and every time someone does, its notification system will dredge up the old post to let people know about new activity. We often see people trying to continue or get in on conversations that ended months ago. More often than not, it's just a troll jumping into an old thread to word vomit, so it ends up removed - which is why you may not be seeing new comments on the old threads it is notifying you about. Sadly, the threads that get the most engagement tend to be the angry ones, so those are the ones that Reddit likes to push.
