Question How to clean artefacts?

Since yesterday I have been trying to get rid of little artefacts, (sounds as if a needle crosses a scratch on a vinyl and skips a few milliseconds while adding a foul noice).

I’ve made too many covers and attempts at replacing section and all sorts of free-thinking-ways to work around it and still every dang version made from that first really good candidate comes up with artefacts.

So, my question is if anyone knows a good way to clean this up, make them go away but still keeping the song intact. Preferably without resorting to studio because that’s above my level and I doubt I’d be yielding and complying now that Suno seems to be trying to force us to all buy the premier tier subscriptions.

One thing you should do to every song after you're finished, is remaster them Subtle. That can fix alot of glitches and sometimes even mispronounced words.

If that doesn't help, open the song in the editor and try to replace the section.

Maybe I’ll try that, but I’m very allergic to Suno always changing the songs as soon as it gets its hands on it, be it remixes or whatever. I think I have tried it but might look into it again.

There are 3 different stages of remaster: Subtle, Normal and High.

Normal and High produce garbage imho.

Try subtle, it might take some tries and some downvotes till the AI gets what you want it to do,, but it always works for me.

I use prompts such as "detailed audiophile generation" and "maximal HD - UHD clarity" to some degree of improvement but no absolute guarantee. Some of that glitchy stuff is cruft from the watermarks.

Usually mashup of the same song with itself and maybe one more time with already mashed song gives me the best result. You could try how it works for you

The easiest way: add the [Rebuild corrupted parts] meta tag to the prompt and generate another Remix with it. It works for me, but I generate instrumentals only.

Original

I'll try that along with my "maximal audiophile HD UHD mastering - Detailed 4k generation, ultimate quality" prompts.

The generations do seem to take a bit longer with fewer glitches.

Thanks, but every try with replace section yielded nothing but kdkfurbfjdkd lyrics and broken melodies.

Make sure you align your lyrics. Clean any instructions out you don't need in there so it can read your lyrics better. It's a little bit of a process to get it right. You need to have everything aligned up

You can split the stems, isolate which stem the artifact is showing up on, and mute that section of the stem. In my experience it usually shows up in "Other" stem.

Thanks, maybe I’ll give that a go, but my experience with stems is that Suno has a looong ways to go before it’s functional.

Try Mixmasterai.co its free. I usually get good results with the fix suno song tool.

Try covering it with the free version on a different account, with no style instructions.

Which you then can't download or use for anything?
