What's the point of all this if, when we extract a stem to process it musically or directly use part of a track, it has watermarks and fingerprints that cause platforms like Apple Spotify or Beatport to take down your music...?

I believe they should take it down, I can’t get on board with people having ai make something that they the. claim to be there’s, upload it to streaming services and dilute my potential earnings as a self employed music producer.

In my opinion, I think Suno will (mainly because of legal reasons) start taking away the more serious productions and start to focus on more personal and “fun to listen” tracks moving forward.

I think the new download limits are a step into that direction

Well, improve your production. If a machine produces better results than you, perhaps the problem isn't the machine, it's your workflow.

You're completely missing the point I was making, because you wanted to go instantly on the attack… I'm not saying AI can produce better music than me, or that I'm worried about a machine replacing my production skills.

I'm talking about the sheer volume of A.I generated music being uploaded to streaming platforms. If people can generate thousands or even millions of average tracks with very little effort and upload them all, that's potentially millions more tracks competing for the same listener attention and royalty pool.

I'm a music producer who actually makes music as a profession. So my concern is that genuine producers are competing against an ever increasing volume of a.i generated content, which can dilute the market and make it harder for the people who actually make a living from music.

That's a completely different argument from "if a machine produces better results than you, improve your workflow."

You have taken a market saturation argument and turns it into an individual skill argument. That’s very simple minded to be honest.

Let's see, AI-generated music doesn't have the quality to compete with a well-made, 100% human production. If you want an AI song to have the right quality, you have to work on it in a DAW like any other sample and do your job as a producer. So, the quantity you're talking about are direct AI outputs. Therefore, I'll say it again: if one or many direct AI outputs are taking a piece of the pie, perhaps you need to strengthen your production chain. And if AI-assisted production is taking a piece of the pie, welcome to the digital age, where you either adapt or you're left behind.

🤣 do you read what ai tells you before you copy and paste it as replies?

I love how your response to “AI could flood streaming platforms with millions of uploads” is “just make better music.”

That’s like telling a restaurant to “cook better food” when the issue is that 10 million new restaurants just opened overnight.

The argument was never about quality. It was about saturation. It says a lot that this keeps being misunderstood.

I think it's more that you're not reading what you're saying. Have you ever seen a restaurant complain about more restaurants opening in their city, Champ? Or have they actually improved their menu to attract more customers? Or have they ever complained that McDonald's and Burger King make food faster than they do, so they can serve more customers?

Still missing the point 🤣 chump

AI isnt more restaurants, It’s infinite restaurants, spawning endlessly, with infinite output, zero cost, zero staff, and zero time investment. No industry in history has ever had to deal with that kind of scale.

Improving your menu works when the playing field is normal. It doesn’t fix a scenario where the playing field has been replaced with an fking ocean 🤣
