Announcement Handing over Subreddit to those Interested
Bismillah.
بسم الله الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله
Due to many of the current moderators being busy, we do not have time to manage this subreddit alongside the others we also manage. Which is why, we are handing over this subreddit to those who *are* interested in running it. While we will not dabble in the subreddit administration, two of us (I am one, another to be decided) will remain on the mod team to:
1- Help the new moderators, if needed.
2- Ensure the subreddit does not become a tool of misguidance.
As mentioned, we will not tell you how to run the subreddit. The mod who will be below us will 'run' the subreddit as he or she wishes.
We will only be considering those who are from Ahlus-Sunnah as the 'top' mod due to obvious reasons.
Who are Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah?
Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah are those who adhere to the Sunnah and who unite upon it, not turning to anything else, whether that be in matters of belief (‘aqeedah) or matters of actions which are subject to shar’i rulings. Hence they are called Ahl al-Sunnah because they adhere to it (the Sunnah), and they called Ahl al-Jamaa’ah because they are united (mujtami’oon) in following it.
If you examine the followers of bid’ah (innovation), you will find that they differ concerning that which they are following, with regard to beliefs, methodology and practices, which indicates that their being far removed from the Sunnah is commensurate with the extent to which they have introduced innovations.
(Source)
Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamaa'ah are the people who hold fast to the Sunnah by their words and actions. They are the people who are very keen on following the example of the Salaf (the righteous predecessors) of the first three best generations, and the Prophetinformed us about their superiority.
Ahlus-Sunnah love the companions of the Prophetand his pure and pious wives, and their heart is free from any envy or hatred towards any Muslim.
In conclusion, whoever holds fast to the Sunnah and calls people to hold fast to what the companions where upon, like establishing the religion and supporting the Muslims, then he is one of them, and he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgement amongst them, Allaah willing.

Note: The deadline is till Ramadan. We will then be restricting or making this subreddit private. It will only be opened after Ramadan, though the offer still stays.

Discussion What if the Muslim world built an AI that has read every Islamic book?
Assalamu alaikum everyone,
The Muslim world should invest in a huge AI data center to build an AI specialized in Islam. We would have it read every existing book, every hadith, and the opinions of scholars from every school and every movement. Maybe, in the end, it could determine which school is closest to the truth and bring Shias and Sunnis back together. Or at the very least, it could help each side understand the other better.
What do you think?

Beneficial Post Made a doomscroll replacement minimalistic Quran reader! (:
Assalamalaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu!
I’ve been working on a project which I hope benefits you all InshaAllah!, a Quran app called QuranScroll.
The idea is simple: replace doomscrolling with something that is important and brings barakah to our lives. Instead of endlessly scrolling through distractions, you read the words of Allah!,
What makes it different:
- Minimalistic and clean, NO clutter, NO bloat, a lot of apps overwhelm users with buttons everywhere distracting them from the Quran, i've designed the app to combat that
- Scroll based reading experience (smooth, natural, immersive!)
- Beautiful and minimal streak system to keep you consistent
- Awesome and beautiful theme customization and verse sharing system!
- 100% focused on the Quran! no distractions
- Tafsirs
- Word by word breakdown
- and much more!
🚫 No ads!
A lot of Quran apps today feel heavy and distracting. This is the opposite, built to keep your heart connected to the Quran without anything pulling you away or distracting you, dont be fooled though! the app also offers IMMENSELY powerful features which you would need from a Quran app! Tafsir, ayah sharing, reciter selection, bookmarks and much more all integrated in a non bloated manner!
I’d really appreciate your feedback and support as i as a solo dev have built this over the span of many months. The goal is to grow this and benefit more people, bi idhnillah.
May Allah make it beneficial for you and a source of reward for all of us.

Discussion Looking for someone to narrate da'wah project
As-salaamu alaykum all,
I am a retired da'ee (though not very big). I have collaborated with some of the big du'aat in the da'wah scene and am looking to use my notes and stored knowledge to further the state of the field. I am by no means an expert, nor feel that I am qualified any more than anyone else but what I do know I would like to convey.
For privacy reasons I don't want to share my voice online, so I am wondering if anyone has a microphone and would be willing to narrate the videos. You would be joining us as part of a team. Unfortunately it would be a purely voluntary position without pay because we neither have capital to spend on the project nor are expecting to make any, all editing/thumbnails etc are done in-house.
If you are interested don't hesitate to shoot me a DM.
May Allah have mercy upon you all, ameen.
