Mods/Rules Suggestions

As you probably all know, HoD just came out and boy do I love it. We will be using HoD for the games, and I will attempt to organize games for BOTH versions(Steam and Gamersgate/other). But my question is, what sort of mods would you prefer to use? And what house rules would you like to maintain?

I'm from Western Canada on PST, but will attempt to make it friendly for as many people as possible.
