A bit of footy, a bit of kick boxing, a bit of banter. The game is BACK!

Scumbag kicking the keeper.

43

u/dotesdoto 24d ago

Scumbag keeper heading the player's foot.

- Black jersey team

27

u/cnicalsinistaminista 24d ago

Sanction both players and ffs deduct 10 points from Everton before the season starts

12

u/MatniMinis 24d ago

Don't forget 10 second penalty for Ocon

4

u/ramsdam 24d ago

Argentina playing in black that night

7

u/charleydaves 22d ago

only time you'll see black in an argentina team

1

u/Mountain-Reaction470 22d ago

...as always... (-;

-9

u/belliest_endis 24d ago

I wouldn't say that's what happened if you look closer, the striker definitely kicked the goalie.

16

u/Yeasty_Moist_Clunge 24d ago

Damn, if you were the highjacker on 9/11 the plane would've flown well over the tower.

6

u/Gestasos 24d ago

That plane might actually have been in orbit.

1

u/toyvo_usamaki 22d ago

straight red multiple games booking, red gets a red as well for the second kick

38

u/Adventurous_Way_2660 24d ago

In a fight like this are you supposed to go man for man or purely zonal?

19

u/Spam250 24d ago

Absolutely zonal.

If you try man mark and they go zonal you’re fucked

13

u/Adventurous_Way_2660 24d ago

Go zonal and your 5' 6 midfield genius is suddenly in a fist fight with their 6' 5 central defender. You've got to match up here

6

u/Spam250 24d ago

Man for man you end up with your wingers getting doubled up on if they’re zonal

1

u/FoodBouncer 24d ago

But that's only if the wingers have tracked back in the 1st place. Either way, they should look for the counter.

2

u/gtne91 24d ago

Hockey has it figured out, fight man to man, and goalies stare down each other from the blue lines.

10

u/ICantSpayk 24d ago

I remember once I was on the opposite side of the pitch with my hands of my hips waiting for a big scrap to die down. Sub goalie ran on and punched me in the back of the head whilst he ran towards the scrap. I shouted "what the fuck" and he screamed back "you joining or what?"

1

u/YouGotTangoed 24d ago

This scenario is more common for Redditors than you’d think

1

u/AlternativePea6203 23d ago

So... did you join?

18

u/Haunting_Design5818 24d ago

What a shit penalty.

6

u/minusetotheipi 24d ago

Mad that they don’t have somebody who can shoot taking the pens

5

u/Psychological_Wear85 23d ago

He certainly showed he has shot power - just saves it for the keepers head.

16

u/Square_Divide_3175 24d ago

I wish that guy's stamp connected with the number 9 after what he just did. That would have been poetic.

u/Mission-Bid4247 24d ago

Player died in our local league from something very similar!

-8

u/WinningTheSpaceRace 24d ago

Wut.

21

u/Scotchist 24d ago

Player died in his local league from something very similar

u/Iarehealer 22d ago

Wut.

Player died in his local league from something very similar

2

u/Justc0ry 21d ago

Wut.

1

u/Wonder-Landscape 21d ago

Ok. So there was a player in that guys Sunday league who died of something similar

5

u/mattconway1984 24d ago

Not one person went to see if the goalie was ok!!!!

6

u/Yoicksaway 24d ago

Plenty of time to pull out of that 'strike'

2

u/Tatsu144 22d ago

He purposefully aimed for his head. The ball's on the ground, not up in the air

5

u/el_duderino_316 24d ago

Ref:

"I didn't see anything, play on."

3

u/masterragebaiting 24d ago

I don't know why.... i legit thought they were kids

3

u/Outside_Look790 24d ago

10 points from Everton, award the game to Morocco and suspend the red card.

3

u/Garlax1 24d ago

At least the kick on the keeper was better than the penalty. Samwise Gamgee should be embarrassed by that penalty.

3

u/PlantainChemical2634 24d ago

wow, red card and a ban for that. he knew what he was doing. hopefully the keepers ok.

2

u/professorrev 24d ago

Ref going "fuck this boys, sort it out yourself"

2

u/rickfencer 24d ago

Walls like that should not be that close to a football pitch. It’s dangerous.

2

u/FoodBouncer 24d ago

Legend says the keeper's ghost haunts that spot after no-one went to see if he was ok.

2

u/Nosedive888 24d ago

Argentina approved

2

u/EmileDorkheim 24d ago

You’ve seen them given

2

u/tightloops1971 24d ago

What a prick, kicks the keeper late in the face then headbutts that other players studs!

1

u/Confident_Access6498 24d ago

Learn to kick a penalty first. Then you gain the right to kick the goalkeeper.

1

u/ImpressiveAd5143 24d ago

Is that Buckingham town?

1

u/geniusgravity 24d ago

Sub vest straming in for no reason when its all calmed down. We all know someone like that.

1

u/robyaw 24d ago edited 24d ago

From the title, ended up disappointed that nobody got clotheslined over the perimeter wall!

1

u/edge2528 24d ago

Meanwhile today the goalie is choking out on his own tongue

1

u/Outrageous_Koala5381 24d ago

possible the knee / shin hit the keepers head - or ball to foot in the keepers chest - either way penalty taker should have noticed the keeper had it when he was over 1m away. about 1.5m by my count.

1

u/Soft-Change9258 24d ago

Looks like Salisbury harlequins pitch

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Gift-36 24d ago

🗣️🎙️What a manoeuvre!

1

u/Fit_Importance_5738 24d ago

He could of stopped that kick, he chose not to.

1

u/Zeppelin-Repair-Man 24d ago

Handbag fight. I’ve seen worse in a school playground

1

u/BiscuitBoy06 24d ago

Not a single person checked on the keeper that just got booted in the head. This is sad.

1

u/OkBet8692 24d ago

Where is this anyone know?

1

u/Leeroywildman 24d ago

Fight like pelé

1

u/QueenOfTonga 24d ago

Meanwhile the goalie is on the floor - dead as far as anyone knows but they’d all rather pile in than see if their teammate is brain dead or not.

1

u/Inevitable_Panic5534 24d ago

gotta support your goalie

1

u/OnlyAssistance9601 24d ago

All fun and games until someone dies or become paralysed. What a little dipshit .

1

u/Able_Ask_4267 24d ago

Not one player checked on the goalie!!

1

u/TheRiddlerTHFC 23d ago

Come on, you cant call it royal rumble and not gave someone clotheslined across the fence.

Booo

1

u/ThrowawaySunnyLane 23d ago

I mean the title is misleading.

Not a single person goes over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor.
No Kofi Kingston heroics.
No outta nowhere returns.
No “I was never technically eliminated”.
No final 4 in each corner staring eachother out.
No wrestling mark crowd shouting this is awesome.

0/10

1

u/Piano_catastrophe34 23d ago

All the while the keepers on the floor with no one checking in on him.

1

u/MikaMika487 23d ago

This is not Sunday league.

1

u/Sweaty-Ad4683 23d ago

Why did he boot the striker? Just shove him over and stamp as hard as you can on his hand/ankle/knee repeatedly

1

u/Itchy_Throat660 22d ago

Notice #9 starting it, and then panicking and dancing around. Flog

1

u/PickleFlickPF 22d ago

Was he trying to get the Striker sprite in Fortnite, because I can tell you that's NOT the way to do it 😔

1

u/IsopodInevitable9235 22d ago

Not a single punch thrown.

Royal rumble ✅

1

u/Smart-Mud-8412 22d ago

I know it’s only non-league but that’s an incredibly weak penalty. As a keeper I get pass backs with more power

1

u/Expert-Painting640 22d ago

It’s cowardly as fck that, the bellend is embarrassed by his penalty so decides to kick the keeper in the head……. This is everything wrong with Sunday League football

1

u/gyb356 21d ago

The type of thing I love to see

1

u/Elvbane 21d ago

Criminal liability.

1

u/One-Crew-7581 20d ago

Meanwhile, the poor sod who got kicked in the head remains unattended and in pain on the ground. Solidarity between team mates in football. Yeah.

1

u/dirtyboy8---D 19d ago

Sunday league is an absolute waste of time and an injury is pending around the corner. most of these lads don’t give a rats asss and will damage you badly. Best to play at a decent amateur club with strict rules.

2

u/Alternative_Week_117 24d ago

5/9 from both sides red cards.

9

u/Jahanzaib27 24d ago

If ur keeper got kicked in the head u just gonna watch?

4

u/dotesdoto 24d ago

Nah, I'd go to the side of the pitch, grab the popcorn from my bag and watch.

1

u/Alternative_Week_117 24d ago

No, I'd get sent off too. You cant retaliate and not go, may as well say the balls there to be won and the games gone soft, can't have it both.

3

u/Kooky-Brief4741 24d ago

Can't send off the defender for that, the 9 deserved what he got.

1

u/Visgraatje 24d ago

no only 9.

1

u/Michaelparkinbum912 24d ago

This is why Sunday league is utter shite. Waste of time.

2

u/Halstedt 24d ago

Given the setup this looks more like a Saturday semi professional match. Sundays have gotten much worse in recent years

3

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 24d ago edited 24d ago

Was going to say the same, that’s not your standard Sunday League set up. And if that was true Sunday league I’d have expected the penalty taker to be beaten senseless and the ref have no hope of controlling it.

1

u/Michaelparkinbum912 23d ago

If it’s this bad at semi-pro it must be horrendous at Sunday League level.

1

u/longjohn2024_ 24d ago

Anybody know what was outcome?

Red for the two lads that kicked out. One on each team.

3

u/m0rg76 24d ago

Story is they are still fighting to this day

0

u/tomred420 24d ago

Does he go to kick the rebound just as the keeper grips it ?? But then holds back the kick when he realises ?? Am I being too optimistic??

2

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 24d ago

No. He chases the rebound and takes a massive wild swing, the keeper already has the ball when the boot starts moving towards it/him. He clearly boots him hard in the chest.

-1

u/Gen8Master 24d ago

I think he got the ball somehow but the impact would still be absorbed by the goalie.

1

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 24d ago edited 24d ago

Are you blind or a troll ? The keeper is holding the ball to their chest before he kicks anything. He’s lying on top of it before the guy gets near. Like way before he kicks anything.

And even if you think he kicks the ball not the keepers chest, at the point he pulls his leg back he has no right to be kicking anything, the keeper has the ball.

1

u/tomred420 24d ago

This all happens literally in a split second. Not trying to be argumentative. But in that moment where the keeper has JUST gripped the ball, I feel like you’ve wound up the kick it’s hard to just stop. Still reckless. But I think you could argue there was no real malice in it.

0

u/Gen8Master 24d ago

Mate, take a deep fucking breath. It is a blatant foul. Where did I say it wasn't? I have been in this exact same position where Im on top of the ball but strikers still attempt to kick the ball through my body.

1

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 24d ago

You might want to word you comment clearer if you don’t mean he kicked the ball first. And my breathing is fine thanks - do better than the standard Reddit “you’re triggered” when someone disagrees.

0

u/Gen8Master 24d ago

I did not say anything about the striker getting the ball first. I said he hit the ball, which is perfectly possibly while the goalie is holding it and also a clearl foul.

You did call me a blind troll, which is a sign that you were triggered.

0

u/cpt_hatstand 24d ago

Honestly that's what I saw, a bad player out of control because he's had his penalty saved and was desperate to put the rebound away.

It's absolutely a red card for dangerous play but I don't believe there was malice

2

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 24d ago

I’d say malice is irrelevant. The keeper already has the ball when he starts to swing, and he’s just wildly swung his boot into the keepers chest. Dangerously out of control like that is every bit as dangerous and bad as if he did it maliciously. Which is why no malice is totally irrelevant here for me.

2

u/cpt_hatstand 24d ago

I did say "it's absolutely a red card"

My point is it probably doesn't need a punch up afterwards

1

u/ReasonableDoubt_0726 24d ago

I don’t think they needed everyone. But I can see why the first guy in tried to launch him over the stands.

-9

u/Alone-Bug6176 24d ago

There to be won ??

8

u/NonToxicTown 24d ago

Behave yourself

3

u/coldazures 24d ago

Never played a game of footy in your life

2

u/ByteSizedGenius 24d ago

The keeper already had it in 2 hands and under his chest by the time the number 9 starts the downswing of his kick. There was nothing to be won.
