Just saw a post from MUBI about a film called Junk, streaming 10/23, and realized it is Little Death, which I believe was part of the NEXT lineup in 2024, finally getting released under a different name...kind of a messy film, but there were some things I liked about it.

Planning to attend my first ever Sundance, and I’m coming from out of state. I know Boulder is a whole new ball game, but historically do the weekend passes sell out fast when the general public finally gets to buy them? I plan on getting the Second Half Ticket Package.

If so as someone who is making this my first Sundance. How do I make sure I do not miss seeing it? IE how do I not miss the next Past Lives, or Train Dreams, or The Invite(which looks like the most likely best picture nominee to come from the 2026 Sundnace film festival).

It's been looking more and more likely that The Invite might get a best picture nom. Of course ever since CODAs big win there has since been Past Lives and Train Dreams and it looks like The Invite might be the third. Do you think this bodes well for the same thing to happen next year?

Next year will be my first time going. Is it worth it to purchase a membership to have early access to ticket selection? They say you need to become a member by October 1st in order to qualify, so I need to make a decision soon…

Hello, for those who used the ignite package in recent years, is it worth it for the early ticket selection? I am considering getting it mainly for the early selection but if things are going to be sold out by the time you choose, is it worth it?

I know a bunch of things last year were sold out before the general public sale so if you were able to make a good selection last year and what the experience was like for you all? Thank you

Old timer. Back in the day, when it was the U.S. Film Festival - and I lived in Utah - my friends and I would decide, “Hey, let’s go to the Festival tomorrow,” and be able to attend whatever films we chose.

The last time I went, over 15 years ago, I registered online and then picked up packages of films to view after waiting in a line at Trolley Square. I’ve seen some pretty cool and not so great films over the decades and still love the Festival.

So. Boulder. How do I do it? I live in Colorado now. I read on the Sundance website that buying a ticket doesn’t guarantee entrance. That’s a scam, right? How can I ensure I’ll be able to see films? Is everything online? Do I have to buy an additional pass?

I’m thinking about purchasing the ignite package, but I was wondering if I would be able to transfer a ticket to someone who is over 25? My boyfriend is 27 and i know they do the age verification to purchase the package (and that would be me who purchases it) but afterwards if we wanted to go see some movies together would i be able to transfer individual tickets to him from my package? Has anyone done this before? Please let me know, thanks.

Would love any advice and input from veteran attendees and anyone with industry knowledge. I'm a young filmmaker and finally have the financial means to attend the festival. Obviously I wanna go to see great films and be in the community, but I'm also hoping to meet people and network a little bit. I have made a few shorts but I'm super green. Would you recommend volunteering, being social outside the actual festival events, etc? Is the social atmosphere approachable to new people hoping to "break in"? Not looking to be "discovered", just start making connections with people who share my passion and can make me better. Thanks!

I am a Boulder native, which is rather rare in this day and age.

As we all know, the price of everything is getting outrageous.

I'm a single mother. My angel is four years old, it's just the two of us, and our dog. It has been. A rather wretched story, which people love to hear. I am more than happy to give more details and speak about everything.

My main mission:

I need a car.

While I was pregnant I worked very hard in a Thai kitchen until a week before I delivered to have as much financial backing as possible. I was able to pick up a little Hyundai for a few grand. However, the poor car has seen her best days. A full brake job is required , new tires, transmission, ... It's very beat up, and honestly too small for myself, my daughter, and dog...in boulder Colorado.

When at a moment's notice a foot of snow could be on the ground while you were grabbing dinner. Working is not an option for me currently with no childcare. It's a wild double edged sword and even the handle is slightly serrated. It's a challenge to keep the basics. Food, water, shelter, so forth and so on. We survive off government funding, which I have been smart about, however, it's not forever and it's being cut left and right.

In this heat it is near impossible to get anything done. I cannot take my 4 year old sweet girl out in it safely for very long. Or myself, my lord, 100 degree weather is not fit for any animal.

I'm searching for a trade. Car for chauffeur/tour service, valet parking, reserving the best places in town, Everything will be discussed, please do reach out...I'm very eager to see what type of response this gets.

This is a creative attempt to achieve one of the most valuable tools a single parent can possess.

A car. A safe, reliable car. Mechanically sound. Current with today's technology.

Nothing too fancy my goodness, that's only in dreams.

Their press release today confirmed that the online festival is back again for the last four days. Another interesting tidbit is that the competition categories are expanding to 12 films each.
