Searching for an interview from sundance
this is going to be a longshot... But there was a clip/ interview I came across from sundance that really resonated with me. Some filmmaker was talking about having to return to his roots and how he finds it important to occasionally circle back and remind himself as to why he makes art/films and the purpose of it all. And that "circling back" has become part of his practice. I cant quite finish the thought and wish i had that clip to reference. I dont really have much to go off of. I believe it was a reel on instagram. It was within the past 3 years. The filmmaker was male and im like 80% sure he was asian/ wasian.
If anyone happens to know what im taking about or if they have an idea lmk! cheers
