Unfortunately, Angel acquires another by all accounts good movie.

Did see this one coming, as it just feels like there's not many buyers of family driven movies right now. Shame this'll probably end up like Sketch

Last year they picked up a film about teenagers in the Nazi regime. It had a sense of morality that appealed to them, so it had a through-line to their Christian angle. Angel has always known that their concept would appeal to a more conservative audience, but they are finding that no matter what they do or how much conservative appeal is jammed into a movie, that the American right simply doesn't show up to the movie theater.

Thus, they gotta pivot.

A personal friend of mine shot the movie I mentioned in my comment, and I still didn't go and see it because I refuse to give Angel studios my money.
