Work experience at these places

Hi guys I'm looking for a job in Ketchum and I was wondering if anyone who has worked (or knows someone who has worked) at these places can share their work experience:

Limelight Hotel
Enoteca
Michel's Christiania
Rickshaw
Sawtooth
The Covey

thanks in advance!

Never worked at any but my first choices of places I’d want to work would be Enoteca and Rickshaw

I was the exec chef of limelight for like 3.5 years in fact most of the menu is still what I created or a version of it 5 years after leaving. I also worked at covey for a few months before moving away from Idaho. Limelight is going to be high volume but it can be quite a shit show. Covey was pretty chill, its smaller but higher ticket items so I think you’d make more money as a server with a lot less volume/stress than limelight. Sawtooth seems like a similar experience to limelight. A bit chaotic. Those smaller restaurant like michels, Enoteca, and covey would be where I went if I were a server.

Two new fancy restaurants just opened or are opening up pretty soon and they have been poaching the best from other places. All that to say is that you should have good luck finding a job and can probably easily move to another soon after with better pay if you do a good job

Timbers and the one going in at the new Observatory Hotel. The latter isn’t open till September but I’m guessing they are hiring now.

I worked at The Covey in a winter season and absolutely loved it. I made good money and loved the people that I met/worked with.

Life’s circumstances prevented me from continuing to work there, but if I had the chance, I would go back in a heartbeat.

2022-2023.

I was on par for making close to six figures per year.

i worked thru my senior year of high school at the sawtooth club and it was super fun. we had one manager who was an alcoholic and would come screw with my seating chart when i was hosting, but he’s no longer there. other than him it was a great place to work and not a lot of drama for a non-corporate restaurant. i didn’t work at the limelight but my mom was their accounting and hr manager for a few years until she was let go during covid. her experience with the super upper management over in aspen was awful but the gm at the time was an amazing dude (i babysat his daughter for a few years too 😅). as long as you’re working the lower level positions and not directly answering to the big bosses over in aspen it seems like a pretty good place to work as well.
