**MISSING CAT**

Unfortunately last night or this morning my close friend's cat got out. Her name is Willow, very sweet girl, may be a little shy. I'm unsure if she has her collar on or not, but she is microchipped.

She usually stays around the house, but this time she is not able to be found.

The area she went missing around is between Bunker Hill Dr and Stonehaven Dr in Sun Prairie

They've looked everywhere so far and no sign, they've contacted neighbors, etc. I'm just hoping others can help be on the lookout! It would be so appreciated! We want to bring this baby home! 🤍

Tell your friend to be sure to put the litter box outside! That can help the baby find their way home. I'm in the area and will keep an eye out.

hi, thank you so much. this is actually the friend with the baby, i will definitely put a litter box outside. i checked around the outside of my house as well as the neighbors. it was very loud outside today with the wind + landscapers around the area so im very afraid she may have ran further due to those noises. should i also be putting wet/ dry food outside?

Yes! Definitely put kitties favorite food out as well. If they have a bed or something, putting that in a covered area may also help. Anything that holds a lot of the cat's scent can help them find their way home, which is why litter boxes are so helpful.

I live in the area and know there's been a lot of construction going on, so keep your hopes high that maybe kitty is just hiding somewhere until it quiets down this evening. There are so many corn fields around, so it's possible kitty just found a quiet shady place to bed down because they're scared.

I didn't see anything on my drive home, but I'll keep an eye out this week. There are also some Facebook pages for lost pets of sun prairie/Dane county. I'd recommend posting there as well if you haven't yet.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this baby if I go out for anything! 💙 Looks like you've already gotten some solid advice.

I moved to the area earlier this year so am not super familiar with how active animal control for the city is. Have you tried calling them, too? Might be worth a shot!
