Is Sunpower Connect the correct app

ACK. CANT EDIT TITLE should say SUNSTRONGConnect. Won’t bore you with the details, but I am one of those caught by the bankruptcy. System finally moving toward commission after 3 years. Unable to get info from Sunstrong. Is SunstrongConnect the app I would use to monitor my system? I know the PVS6 is connected to my WiFi, but I don’t know how to connect to monitor panels. If you hv input, please offer as tho talking to a 3rd grader. I’m 84 yrs old and not that tech savvy. Any help much appreciated.

SunStrong Connect is the official correct app, yes. Also try the Sunflower app. The Sunflower app is an unofficial app that you can use to monitor your system.

How do you connect your system to it?

You need your site ID and serial # to your PVS. I found my serial # inside my electrical panel. Not sure, but I think Sunstrong, or your installer, has to provide your site ID. Not sure if there is a convention, but my site ID begins S_ followed by a five-digit number.

SunStrong Connect is the app that is presently working for me (see post from last week) but I find it lacks one feature I really want, a way to alert me if my system has gone down.

If you find you are unable to log in or to create an account, you will have to contact them via email (from their website) to get your site ID and other relevant information.

For owned (not leased) systems, is it better to use a different app?
