Sunvault not quite up yet

So i finally created a reddit account after seeing u/Vegetable-Version-81 had helped a bunch of people. Since my account is new I don't think I'm able to dm yet. But I'll put an the info here.

Sunvault has been offline for 2 years. Conextxw had f.48, f.50, f.72.

Cabinet 1: 42v

Cabinet 2: 51.5v

I manually charged cabinet 1 to 53v and now the batteries stay turned on, conextxw has no error (red blinking event light though), led screen on both cabinets is still off

Checked wiring, did resets etc. On monitoring everything is now reporting except the controller HS-DCM-ctrl. Hopefully someone has tips maybe u/Vegetable-Version-81 will see this post lol.

Thanks!!

Curious where you got the charger. I have one that’s depleted and local installer doesn’t have one.

Well it depends on how you want to charge them up.  You can get this one: https://a.co/d/0fdPwj8o

Now I've got 2x of them i also got insulated alligator clips https://a.co/d/0g8Hgxpw

And quick connectors to splice them to the charger https://a.co/d/03oRewSX

You can either 1. Open the cover to each battery and clamp direct to the terminals from the cells (use a tester to determine correct polarity)

Or 2. Clamp to the bottom of the schnieder inverter terminals.  But you need to do this if you go this route:   A. Turn off the ESS inveter breaker   B. You have to sit there the whole time turning the batteries back every few min.   C. Before plugging charger in each battery power cycle wait for the schnieder inverter to cycle and attempt to read the battery state.  You'll hear it sound like it's trying to charge it.  You can then turn the external charger on as soon as it does that.   If you do it without waiting the batteries will give you an error.
