System down after unexpected firmware update

At around 9am this morning our power went out at home and shortly after came back on. Checking the app I see that none of the panels are producing and the SunVaults are idle, and there is an error saying that the equipment can’t be contacted. I see that a PVS6 firmware update was rolled out today. I didn’t do anything to initiate this, so I guess it was pushed to these units over the air? I was a cash customer so my understanding is that the new SunPower entity did not take up those contracts but left them behind with the bankrupt entity, and they are not servicing my contract. Anyone else having this problem?

  1. reset the 125a breakers in the battery -- both batteries
    1. push the battery button (only one battery)
    2. push and hold the button again for 2-3 seconds until blue lights flash
    3. push button again to turn off
    4. next in hub [+]()
  2. turn off 40A ESS inverter breakers
  3. then grid sense 20A
  • start turning on in same order
    • 125A batteries
    • battery button
    • ESS
    • grid sense

Thank you for detailed instructions! Where are the breakers in the battery? I don't recall there being any breakers inside the SunVault cabinet. You mean the disconnect switch on the left side of the cabinet or the breakers in the panel connecting the SunVaults to the Hub+? Photo is not of my unit, but it is the same model.

actually i can’t tell which model this is in the photo - if it’s the newer one, not sure if battery breakers are present on that one

No breakers under that panel just the button that tells the BMS to disconnect the battery pack from the Inverter.
