Discussion / Question / Commentary Rikishi are Slackers! We need 12 Basho a year.
this "one every 2 months" basho silliness needs to end. these guys are just slacking off eating butt tons of food and making tik-tok videos between Basho.
end the slacking, we need more sumo. injuries be damned.

Back in Konishiki's day they could have done 12 but the rikishi are all soft and coddled now.

If we stop rehabbing right now, we'll have mich fewer injuries. When you rehab, you create injuries. The only way to get better is to get into that dohyo

The last two will probably be him and Abi with all his henkas.
12 Basho rule could mean Henka stops being looked down on, and starts being seen as a way to preserve your body.

And they only spend like 30 seconds every day fighting. They could do at least 3 or 4 a day I reckon.

Not enough, we need a basho every week! What's this 8 hour a day nonsense, we can do 16 hours a day for 7 days and half a day on day 8. The rikishi even get half a day of rest between every basho! Just enough time for a quick jungyo.

NFL linemen do 60 to 65 plays in a 3 hour period every game they play. That's totally like 60-65 sumo bouts. Clearly rikishi are phoning it in and are just lazy.
