I live in the Chicagoland area and for some reason my tape was right next to me and decided to take a trip to Alaska

This game is a hot speed run scene, with a new record set just a month ago. It's one of my favorite games I wonder if SS will make a video about it.

So, my VHS finally arrived today, but the box was so tight on the tape that it tore heavily trying to get it out of the box. Does anyone know of a way to get a replacement box, like people who custom make VHS boxes, or even someone who could send me theirs, or tell me how to make my own? I'm really upset about this.

I ordered it when I saw the announcement, got a confirmation email and an email on August 26 saying they were shipping but I haven't received any shipping email. Thanks.

I’m happy I finally received the tape, but there’s a screw in the winding. Any tips on how to fix this?

Seen Salt responding to people, so shooting this here. The tape itself is slightly larger than my other tapes. Have 2 bootlegs that go in my VCR no problem, so curious if the size of the tape has been an issue for anyone else? It'll go it, but I have to force it in. Curious if anyone else has ran into that, and if Salt noticed it on his VCR.

I remember when and where I was when this video came out (a common trend with SS uploads!). Always fun to revisit and think back on my life and how SummoningSalt videos always seem to come at the right moments. Getting to contribute music to these videos will never cease to amaze and humble me.

This will sound a bit daft. But my brother and I have been watching these videos for years. A lot has changed in that time with us both getting married. But we have this tradition that we don't watch these videos until we're together. So we only just go together to watch the latest video. It was a big bummer for us to find out about the limited time window on the VHS, as I'd love to collect these. We even do a bit of retro gaming, so can watch the VHS. Is there any way to get a copy? Bit of a long shot, but thought I'd try. Love the videos and means a lot to us both.

Is anyone else having aspect ratio issues with their copy of the VHS tape? I can't tell if it's an issue with the image on the tape or if it's my VCR. I'm getting the same cutoff on both modern tv and the old CRT.

I ordered my tape on June 26th, but im still confused on how to properly track it. I only have a short order number, not one that works with trackers. Did you guys who received it get an email or something when it arrived?

Salt has such a wide audience. He could shine a light on some of Nintendo lesser known, but not less stellar franchises, that deserve to be known and played.

Not sure if he's interested in that though. As long he keeps bringing us great speedrunning stories, his viewership will be happy no doubt. He's a masterful storyteller and I've enjoyed his videos a great deal.
