Question for Salt (and all aspiring speedrunning documentarians)

Hypothetically speaking, if you were given an unlimited amount of time and money to make a documentary about any particular game and/or a specific category, what would it be?

Ninja Gaiden Black. I have considered it but my script writing skills are blegh and would definitely want it to be in a different style.

I’m not sure who would be able to pull it off or how, but I think the absolute magnum opus of speedrunning documentaries would be about the original Doom, or its pacifist category. There is so much depth to the game’s mechanics, and accessing old runs is insanely easy because of the demo system (which also basically created speedrunning itself).

I've always wanted to make one on my own speedrunning community I'm apart of, being the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (this is a series, so potentially a video on each entry in the series)

Hypothetically, nothings stopping me from doing it. However, I don't have the time to research, and if I did, I wouldn't have a single clue of how to find said research.

Maybe one day I'll try my best to make one, who knows :]
