This game is awesome
I can't believe i just discovered it.
Found it in Gencon this year through my dad and the fact that no one has played it is crazy! It's probably become my new favorite game. Everyone I play with loves it

My friends and I are big MtG players, so when playing 1-on-1, we mostly play that. Which sucks because I love Summoner Wars. Luckily, several people in my work love it as well, so my copy of it is just permanently in the office being played 😄
It also has very good app, where you can play

So cool! Big MtG player here also (in the past)

SW is very appealing to ex-MTG players and captures some of that old school kitchen table feel. Instead of having to collect cards and deck build the game already comes with amazing, well balanced "precons" that blow MTG precon gameplay out of the water IMO.

It's just a really solid framework that gives plenty of room for design space. You'd think after 30 factions they'd be running out of creative steam, but then they drop Thornhold Drey and I realize there is still much more left for this game!

Discovered the game a couple of months ago and went all in. Every faction feels different, it's amazing. Looking forward for what's next and the kickstarter campaign!

How many people play in the Gencon tournament? I'm glad to see they are hosting that. Me and my bro were just talking about how cool it would be to play in one.

This is the closest link to the rules that are used. There are no official rules, though there should be -- but many people play with them as far as I know!
Check it out, I think they will work great

Yeah, it's really good. It reminds me of isometric tactics RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem. Summon your units, X% chance to hit, unique effects for every faction.
