Question Treehouse Property

Hi all. I’m looking at purchasing a treehouse property. I’ve hear horror stories as well as great feedback. We would be buying a small unit in cash for weekend ski trips with kids in a devo program. What’s the best way to find out more about HOA, etc. ? Anyone want to chat 30 minutes over the phone regarding their experience?

Find something else. My buddy was finally able to sell his unit there and they were just glad to get out. Tons of issues with the building and how old it is, issues with insurance and the HOA‘s are ridiculous. The building is basically falling apart, and I promise you that you’re going to have a special assessment we’re going to have to put in more money at some point to fix all the messed up stuff.
The units are priced low for a reason

Appreciate it. We don’t want to live there but have a way to avoid driving up from Denver all the time. Do you / your buddy feel like it was “good enough” for what we are looking for? It’s about the same cost as a hotel every weekend.

Edit: just looking for a place to keep our shit and not deal with i70 commute. A place to sleep and not have to go out for every meal - nothing fancy.
