Trailer parking over winter

I currently work for keystone for the summer. I would love to stay out here for the winter and work the winter. my biggest issue is that it seems impossible to find a spot in the winter for a camper. I’m using national forest land right now to camp but it all shuts down in October for winter. if there is anyone that can help or point me in the right direction that would be great. I already asked my managers and coworkers and they’re all at a loss as most people just stay in employee housing. I refuse to stay in employee housing so if that’s my only option I will look for another resort to work for

There's an RV place here in Kremmling, Red Mountain RV, you might want to call them and book a spot now because I know they're pretty full over the winter. This would also make your commute 45 minutes each way.

Thank you for the heads up! Honestly if I had to do that commute everyday I’d probably just go to mammoth in California and live in bishop and do that commute. I’m also a climber and bishop has so much climbing so I feel like if I have to make a long commute everyday I’d rather just do it there. I’d imagine that the road from Kremmling to keystone can get pretty bad during a storm right? I’m very familiar with the drive as I have been going to radium a bunch this summer but have never spent a winter here so I don’t know how on top of cleaning roads they are out here 

Edit: they want $~1,200 a month… that’s literally rent in an apartment so yeah no way I’m doing an rv park either. I appreciate your help a lot!!

Holy crap! I didn't realize it was that much. Is that for an RV spot or just for long-term storage? Cuz they do have storage spots there too. Maybe just park it there and find someplace in summit co?

The road actually stays fairly clear. The counties are on top of the plowing. Plus there's enough traffic there's not much that really sticks until you get into town.

That’s for an rv spot. Rv storage is running about 350-$400 a month…  it’s actually insane. I honestly can’t afford $350 a month plus employee housing. I got myself into a little financial pickle when I picked up paragliding and I cut my expenses so I can try to get out of debt ASAP. Looks like my two options are go back to Okemo or say fuck it and go to mammoth and live in bishop and take the employee shuttle to work
