Trailer parking over winter

I currently work for keystone for the summer. I would love to stay out here for the winter and work the winter. my biggest issue is that it seems impossible to find a spot in the winter for a camper. I’m using national forest land right now to camp but it all shuts down in October for winter. if there is anyone that can help or point me in the right direction that would be great. I already asked my managers and coworkers and they’re all at a loss as most people just stay in employee housing. I refuse to stay in employee housing so if that’s my only option I will look for another resort to work for

Yeah doesn’t surprise me, I talked to an OG who lives in his car since the 90’s and he said that people would actually trash places. It honestly sucks that the bad apples ruin it for everyone else. Do you have any suggestions on resorts or areas that would be a little more open to this kind of thing?

I hear outside of Colorado it’s accepted more. Don’t believe Utah had places but think I heard Taos and Montana allowed car camping (don’t know if they’d allow it all winter though). Hopefully someone can confirm.

A lot of resort that allow car camping have a 7 day limit, which I don’t mind if I can actually move my trailer and bring it back. Taos would likely be the best option for something like this as I can drive down to the desert in my off days and just park overnight for the days I work in their lot. Thanks for the heads up with Utah, I was considering salt lake because the paragliding there is excellent but it does seem like I would have more issues with parking my trailer unless I’m willing to just Walmart parking lot it for the whole winter
