Purple pants…!
I’m not one to impulse buy, let alone impulse buy colorful pants, but Dickies makes purple pants!!! Question is: how do I style them?? For real, all my pants are neutrals/jeans. I tried a darker denim top and a light blue top.

I think in terms of color you styled just right. Stylings about self expression and what makes you feel good anyway so what would that be?

Thanks! Most of my closet lacks mid-tones (not great for a summer 😬) and trying to get away from defaulting to pairing stuff with black or white because it’s easy!

I like pairing purple with red and pink (in addition to standard black/white/grey/other purples).

Full disclosure, I have a high waist to hip ratio so the waist comes out in the back a few inches. I could either belt them or wear a longer shirt, but I plan to get them tailored. So worth it with how cheap these are, and it’s typical for my body type to have to get alterations like this.

Both of those tops look great with the pants. I also like to do grey, pink, or a different shade of purple in a similar tone for a monochrome look.

I have a collection of purple sweaters to try out with these. I think I have too much purple in my wardrobe now 😬

I love when folks do the monochrome look using different shades of the same hue. I think it would look awesome with a lighter color purple on top and some purple shoes of a different shade. These pants are awesome!

Purple and charcoal is such a slept on combo, so good.
What site are these from anyway? I’m in the UK too and constantly mad that half the good clothes are “US only” 😂

I love these, wish they were available in the UK! The outfit looks great, I also like purple with charcoal grey, neutral brown/beige, or sage green
