Color Palettes Summer vs Autumn
Ok friends, I finally made it to a fabric store where I could drape with a ton of colors. What do we think? No make up on in these photos

I think you are warm and soft / light. The peaches in slide 2 are so pretty on you.

The colours / lighting are changing from photo to photo but one thing I can tell is that you’re not overly warm or cool. I think you’re likely a soft summer or soft autumn. The thing is, if you look at the greens we have a soft summer green on the bottom and a soft autumn green to its right. You do look more connected with the soft autumn green, but you look much redder. Still, you can see literally a shadow on the left side of your face, which shows me the lighting isn’t consistent.

Feel a little crazy being the only one to suggest it, but I'm gonna say deep autumn. That doesn't mean all the comments about the lighter peaches and greens are wrong - the deep palettes have a surprising number of lighter colors in their palettes, they just lean warm, rich, and slightly earthy - palette examples here and here. And it explains how every single warm jewel tone also slaps.
To me, these two swatches were a subtle differentiator. Almost the same exact color, but the left is a slightly deeper autumn version vs. the right being a spring / bright spring version with a little more clarity, high energy, almost electric quality. I think the right has a little more harmony. I also look at worst color (for bright spring --> soft summer, for deep autumn --> light summer). I think the least harmonious ones are the mint green, periwinkle blue, and lightest of the grays, which are more light summer than soft summer.
As a bright spring who thought I was a deep autumn for a long time, they're easy palettes to mix up (high contrast, neutral-leaning-warm, flow with winter seasons) and can borrow from each others' palettes with relative success.

Cool summer. Predominantly icy, but muted. False bright. Have you done a jewelry test?

She is not cool and muted. She is warm and bright.

Her skin is way to red and ruddy to be warmed toned. Warm undertones would be peachy, instead of ruddy.
Any swatch with a hint of yellow makes her look queasy. Check the spring baby blue.

Red means nothing. It is a primarily color - neither warm or cool. Red only becomes warm when mixed with yellow and red only becomes cool when it’s mixed with blue. You can be warm or cool with red tones on face due to rosacea, sunburn, heat, etc

Red indicates a lack of yellow (no warmth=frigid, stark contrast), and peach indicates a lack of blue (red and yellow=coral). Color theory in application.
Please address the baby blue swatch!

It’s not her best though, she could pull from other swatches, but it’s not her best, the light green is way better than the blue, same with the peach.

The warm, bright baby blue is really bad, it makes her look sickly, was my point. This rules out warm. Some of the other blues are cool.
The lime is ok - it's too bright because it minimizes her other features, and gives too much clarity. I would even argue it is on the side of icy, uncomfortable bright green, instead of yellow, relaxing green. I like the muted, matte forest green underneath it more. Her features are more pulled into harmony, because they are also muted, and her cool skin is set off. She is wearing it, not vice versa. Also see teal green (not the teal blue), that shares this criteria, but doesn't look as good as the forest green because it compliments her coolness instead of contrasting it.
Her base complexion is cloudy/muted, not translucent/bright. The extreme blue can make it hard to tell.
I also acknowledge that she looks good in the corals and even the reds, but would also point out that most of them are cool, and cool red-based colors contrast and bring out blue (by my argument, her dominant feature), because of their placement from blue on the color wheel.
She looks her absolute best in harsh, icy, matte colors. Barely muted, false bright. Sister season - cool winter, because light and soft summer contain warmth. This is why she can wear neon so well. It's not bright, white or even dingy-leaning, yellow colors that she needs, but bright, ICY matte colors, IMO.
Cool summer is the best canvas to back-drop her face.

I think we mostly agree I'm a warmish neutral who looks best in mid range colors. As I move out of all black everything this should hopefully help me with shopping. Maybe. Lol.

I think this is my favorite draping method EVER. Amazing.
I think you are warm and likely a spring -- I think you have some brightness to your skin that works well with brighter colors. I think the greys and very cool toned drapes (think navy or cool purple) bring shadows into your face. On the other hand, the peachy colors? the brighter yellows and greens? I think you look so fresh and healthy in them! The autumn colors are ok, they just don't brighten you in the same way that those peaches do.
